BIBLE MEDITATION:

Deuteronomy, 7: 9;"Know therefore that the Lord your God is God, He's a faithful God keeping His Covenant of Love to a thousand generations of those who love Him and keep His Commandments."

THE ENCOURAGING WORD:

George Matheson, a student at the University of Scotland was taken with an eye disease. He was losing his eyesight. A beloved Professor came to him and said, George, the doctors told me that it's my responsibility to tell you that in three days you will be blind. If there is any face that you want to look upon, do it now. George wrote to his beloved fiancée and asked, would you come to my side, I want to look into your face one more time before I go blind. She wrote back to him, if you are going blind, I don't want to be married to you, and broke the engagement. George was crushed, but he went on to graduate from the University at age 19. Out of that pain, he wrote one of the most beautiful hymns ever written, and the words go like this.

"Oh love that will not let me go, I rest my weary soul in thee, I give thee back the life I owe, that in thine ocean depths, it flows may richer, fuller be,

"O light that follows all my ways, I yield my flickering torch to thee, my heart restores its borrowed ray, that in thine sunshine's glow, its day may brighter fairer be,

"O joy that seeks me through pain, I cannot close my heart to thee, I trace the rainbow through the rain and feel the promise is not vain, that mourn shall tearless be,

Though blind, he became a mighty minister of the Gospel of Christ. This crushing experience allowed him to touch the world. The words to this hymn came to George in a total of five minutes and he never had to go back and edit them.

We all experience painful losses in our lives. How we choose to handle them is the key to what happens next. In this life, we will always encounter times when we are rejected or cast off because of a certain belief or lifestyle that we live by, but know this, Jesus Christ will never leave you nor forsake you. This last verse that I just wrote applies so much in the world in which we live in today. Just the two categories that I mentioned, certain beliefs and lifestyles are two that are often cast off in our society today. But those that are cast off the most, are those that are trying to share the Word of God to an unbelieving world and it's getting worse and worse every day. I can personally relate to this one. Those that used to have high respect for me and looked up to me, now look down at me as if I have gone off to deep end. Those that are sharing the Gospel and the love of God are now being laughed at and mocked at more than ever before, just as the Bible says would happen in the end days. Evil is being elevated as acceptable and the Word of God is being watered down to the point where even the churches of today don't necessarily teach from the Bible anymore.

We read in Isaiah, 5: 20; which foretells of this evil that will happen in the end days, "Woe unto them that call evil good and good evil, that put darkness for light and light for darkness, that put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter."

All those that are sharing the Gospel with people, are those that love their fellow man, and yet they are looked down at as if they are unloving and uncaring, when in all reality they are the ones that care the most. Those that are sharing the Gospel, don't gain anything by teaching the Word of God as far as Salvation is concerned. They are already saved. They just want those that they love to join them for all eternity in the most unbelievable environment imaginable.

Ask yourself this question. Is that so awful that somebody loves you so much that they are willing to jeopardize their relationship with you, to get you to know the truth about salvation. You need to understand that God has called certain people to share the Gospel, especially in these days. The days are getting darker and darker and one day soon, Jesus is going to return as He promised, and the way things are looking in our world today, it could be sooner than we think. Those that are hearing what the Holy Spirit puts on the hearts of those proclaiming the Bible, are for the most part, not taking it seriously. They don't want to hear it, they think ignorance of the law will be to their advantage when they stand before Jesus Christ in judgment. Those are also the ones that are going to know just how much we truly love them, when it will be too late.

What does Romans, 1: 18-20; tell us? "For the wrath of God is revealed from Heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, (suppress means cover up) because that which is known about God is evident within them, for God made it evident to them. For since the creation of the world, His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse."

Based on this Bible verse that you just read, nobody will have an excuse for not believing in Jesus Christ or receiving His propitiation for their sins. So remaining ignorant will not work in your defense.

I'm not going to compare myself to Noah or any other great prophets, because I'm not a Prophet by any stretch of the imagination. But in a sense, I am doing the same thing that Noah did just before the flood. He was warning those that he loved about the upcoming flood and no one believed him and as a result, everybody except his wife, three sons and their wives perished. The same thing is going to happen in the very near future to all those that ignore the warnings about God's final judgment that will come to all of those that had rejected God's only son Jesus Christ. You will perish into everlasting torment if you reject Jesus Christ.

We all should know, what I believe to be the most popular verse in the Bible, John, 3: 16; "For God so loved the world that He gave His only Begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."

Do you actually believe that God would allow his only Begotten Son to die such a painful death if He didn't truly love us? How many of us would sacrifice one of our own children for the sake of saving others? We need to focus on the One True Love that we all have, the one who gave up everything to come to Earth, live a sinless life and then willingly went to the Cross to pay for our sins, so that we could fellowship with him forever.

We read in John, 15: 13; "There is no greater love than to lay down one's life for one's friends."

This is what Jesus did for us, He laid down His life for us. His unconditional love for those of us that put our complete trust in Jesus Christ will last for all eternity, all we have to do is believe on Him and love Him as He loves us.

I'm going to share a thought with you. I've been studying the Bible and Bible prophecy for about thirty years now. What I have been studying for all these years has been like reading the script to an upcoming movie. I understood what was coming to our world, I just didn't think it would happen this fast. But now after reading the preview of coming attractions, I now see the movie in full detail. Everything that the Bible said would happen in the end days, is happening just as prophesied. Here's a Bible verse that will sum up what has been taking place in the last few decades.

We read in Hosea, 4: 6; "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge, because thou has rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shall be no priest to me, seeing thou has forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children."

If you haven't accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and have not been Born-Again into the Holy Spirit, you will stand before Jesus at the "White Throne Judgment" where all those that rejected Jesus will be condemned to the "Lake of Burning Fire" for all eternity. You may say, well, if God is such a loving God, why would He send anybody to hell.

That just shows the ignorance that is in the minds of most people today, and the lack of knowledge of what the gospel teaches. God will not send anybody to hell for anything that they ever did. There's nothing you can do that could condemn you to hell for all eternity. You will end up in the "Lake of Burning Fire" because you rejected the only provision for sin, that is the only reason why you will go to hell, and that is a choice you have to make. You make that choice where you want to spend eternity, God will not force you into doing anything. The choice is 100% yours as to where you want to spend eternity. You want to serve Jesus Christ now, God will take you to heaven, you want to serve Satan and this world now, He will allow you to spend eternity with Satan for ever. He does not want anybody to perish, but as the Bible says, "Few will be that find the way" and the more I see what's going on in our world today, the more I see that. God came to the world in the personage of Jesus Christ for one purpose, it was a suffer for the sins of the world so that by believing on what He did, we would not have to suffer for our own sins. I'd call that the highest form of love that one can show for someone.

We read in John, 15: 13; "Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends."

Do you know anybody that would do that for you. There might be someone in your life that loves you so much that they might do that for you, but it would have to be someone that loves you with the same kind of love that God showed us. So when I hear someone say, "If God is so loving why would He send anyone to hell'" think about what He did for you. This is the God of the Universe that we are talking about. Once man fell from Grace in the Garden of Eden, man fell out of fellowship with God as well. We were all destined for hell at that point because God cannot and will not allow sinful man to enter into heaven. Did you hear what I just said, all of us would be going to hell. The only way for man to be reconciled back to God was for sin to be dealt with. Someone has to pay for your sins, you can't do it, nobody else can either because we are all infected with the same disease, and that is called S.I.N. positive. Only Jesus could make the claim that He was without sin, therefore, He was the only one that could pay the price for our sins, and he did it. So next time you say something in reference to how much God loves you, stop and think about what He did for you. All you have to do is accept His payment for your sins and walk in fellowship with Him and with the Holy Spirit until He takes us home. It's that simple! Why would you choose anything else? So, if you get condemned to the "Lake of Burning Fire" it is because you chose to do so, it is your choice, not a choice that God wants you to make, and that's why He went to the Cross so you didn't have to make that choice.

I'm going to end this message with this last story. In 1830 a guy by the name of George Wilson was arrested for mail theft, the penalty by which was death by hanging. President Andrew Jackson gave Wilson a pardon, but Wilson refused to accept it, and the authorities were confused, do they hang him or not, do we hang him or don't we. It went to the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. John Marshall, who handed down the decision, said, "Quote" a pardon is a piece of paper the value of which is determined by the acceptance of the person to be pardoned. It was refused, it is no pardon, George Wilson must be hanged.

You may say, how dumb is that, well, if you reject Gods pardon for you sins, that I would say is more ignorant that what George Wilson decided. Don't judge others until you look at yourself.

We are all under the penalty of death and separation from our Lord for all eternity, however, God has given us a pardon through the shed blood of Jesus Christ on the cross two thousand years ago. If you do not accept this pardon, then you are still under the penalty of death and separation from God for all eternity. There are only two kinds of people in this world, those that receive Jesus Christ and His propitiation for his sins, which is a free gift, or those that are counting on their good works for their salvation. Good works will not allow you presence into God's Kingdom. Nothing that you could ever do, would be good enough to earn your own salvation. Only through the shed blood of Jesus Christ can you be saved. When you stand before the Lord on Judgment Day, you will be judged by whether or not you believed and received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior or did you reject the only provision made for your sins. There's no other way. So are you going to receive the pardon God gave us for salvation or will you choose to spend eternity in the "Lake of Burning Fire" My friends, it's so simple. The problem why people don't accept this is because you haven't received or they haven't accepted the Bible as a true and inherent Word of God, so they are blinded to all this by the god of this age, which is Satan. You need to call out to Jesus and you need to pray and ask Him into your heart and let Him reveal to you the truth of what I just wrote. I've been called to share this message with people I love. Back in the days when I was younger and I grew up with a lot of you that might be reading this message, you are looking at me and saying, there's no way this guy could be doing this, he didn't have it in him. Well, you know something, I agree with you, I didn't think that this is something I could eve do either. I didn't make this decision to share God's Word. He called me and made it obvious to me that this was what I was going to do, and now, I love doing it, and the reason I love doing it is because I want to reach out to those I love and give this message to them. I want them to have what The Holy Spirit gave me.

Don't let this message be rejected, you need to hear this truth and you need to hear from someone you trust, There are lots of good solid Bible teachers out there, but make sure that you listen to someone that teaches from the Bible and not religion. There is a huge difference when you know the truth of the Bible.

I pray that God blesses you in all you do, but I pray mostly that He reaches your heart, because I do believe we're in the end days, is that tomorrow, next month, I don't know, but I know it's too late to reject this message. So again, with this being said, "God bless you and take care!"
