BIBLE MEDITATION:
Joshua 24:15; “And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
ENCOURAGING WORD:
Every human being born of woman has to eventually make a very important decision. Who will they serve. If they say that they serve themselves, then they have a fool for a master. But even then, they are serving somebody or something. But in reality there are only two choices that really make a difference. Will we serve Jesus Christ or will we reject Jesus Christ. If we reject Jesus Christ, then we have chosen to serve Satan. Choose Jesus and live forever in the Kingdom that He built for those who believe. Serve Satan and live in the environment (That happens to be “The Lake of Burning Fire” that God created for Satan and his fallen angels. Quite simple if you ask me.
I hear people say something as ridiculous as, “I don’t serve Satan or Jesus,” but what they are doing is serving Satan, because Satan doesn’t want us to serve Jesus, so we are following Satan’s plan for humanity, which is to influence every person to reject Jesus and therefore serve Satan? The Bible is very clear that in the end days, more and more people will fall away from the truth doctrine of scripture. The history of the church in the last 100 years has been marked by significant changes, including a decline in religious service attendance, the rise of new movements like the emerging church, and growing discussions about social justice issues.
The religious landscape of the United States continues to change at a rapid pace. In Research Center telephone surveys conducted in 2018 and 2019, 65% of American adults describe themselves as Christians when asked about their religion, down 12 percentage points over the past decade. Meanwhile, the religiously unaffiliated share of the population, consisting of people who describe their religious identity as atheist, agnostic or “nothing in particular,” now stands at 26%, up from 17% in 2009.
Both Protestantism and Catholicism are experiencing losses of population share. Currently, 43% of U.S. adults identify with Protestantism, down from 51% in 2009. And one-in-five adults (20%) are Catholic, down from 23% in 2009. Meanwhile, all subsets of the religiously unaffiliated population – a group also known as religious “nones” – have seen their numbers swell. Self-described atheists now account for 4% of U.S. adults, up modestly but significantly from 2% in 2009; agnostics make up 5% of U.S. adults, up from 3% a decade ago; and 17% of Americans now describe their religion as “nothing in particular,” up from 12% in 2009. Members of non-Christian religions also have grown modestly as a share of the adult population.
I share this very important information because this was prophesied to happen back in the days when Jesus walked the earth and the prophets of old spoke as the Holy Spirit revealed to them things that would come to pass in the last days. Acts 10:44; “While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell upon all those who heard the word.” Those that say the Bible was written by men are as ignorant as they come. It’s true, the Bible was penned by men, but it was inspired and spoken too, by the Hole Spirit.
2 Timothy 3:16; “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,”
Also in regards to what I mentioned above about the decline in church attendance, read the following Bible verse that was written over a couple thousand years ago.
The concept of "apostasy of the church," meaning the falling away from the faith or a rebellion against God, is mentioned in the Bible, particularly in the New Testament. Key verses addressing this include; 2 Thessalonians 2:3; “Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition,” which states that the Lord's return will not occur until "the rebellion comes first", which is the falling away from true Biblical doctrine.
Additionally, 1 Timothy 4; 1-5; “Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron, forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth. For every creature of God is good, and nothing is to be refused if it is received with thanksgiving; for it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.” As I assess world events and the current state of our churches, I believe that we are living in the final days of the end Times.
Now is a good time for me to ask the next question. “Do you believe that the Bible is the true and inherent word of God? If you do, then pay attention to the next few Bible verses. If you do not believe that the Bible is 100% true and accurate, then you have no voice in the matter. You can continue to live your life as you wish and then when the time comes and it is too late, you will wish you had listened when you had the chance.
John 12:26; “If anyone serves Me, (Jesus) let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor.”
In the verse that I just read, Jesus is speaking in front of a group of non-Jewish seekers, who have come to see Him in Jerusalem, John 12:20–22; “Now there were certain Greeks among those who came up to worship at the feast. Then they came to Philip, who was from Bethsaida of Galilee, and asked him, saying, “Sir, we wish to see Jesus.” Philip came and told Andrew, and in turn Andrew and Philip told Jesus.”
The main message in the following verses that Jesus is giving deals with the need for a person to "die" to themselves in order to "live" in eternal life. John 12:24-26; "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit. Whoever loves his life loses it, and whoever hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life. If anyone serves me, he must follow me; and where I am, there will my servant be also. If anyone serves me, the Father will honor him." This is not a question of earning one's salvation—rather, it's a measure of a person's sincerity. Those who earnestly want to submit to God will put Him at the very top of their priorities. They won't "love" things as much as they "love" God and His will. To the world, that looks like death, just as burying a seed has all the appearance of killing it, In reality, that act is what allows the seed to achieve the purpose for which it was created! In the same way, being a born-again believer in Jesus Christ means "dying" to one's self and self-interests.
1 Corinthians 15:36–42; “Foolish one, what you sow is not made alive unless it dies. And what you sow, you do not so that body that shall be, but mere grain—perhaps wheat or some other grain. But God gives it a body as He pleases, and to each seed its own body. All flesh is not the same flesh, but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of animals, another of fish, and another of birds. There are also celestial bodies and terrestrial bodies; but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another. There is one glory of the sun, another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for one star differs from another star in glory. So also is the resurrection of the dead. The body is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption.”
Romans 6:6–8; “knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin. For he who has died has been freed from sin. Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him, Those who resist that obedience are like a seed which is never planted; seeming to "live" but merely stagnating in a state of immaturity and barrenness
Mark 10:21–23; “Then Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said to him, “One thing you lack: Go your way, sell whatever you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, take up the cross, and follow Me.” But he was sad at this word, and went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions.”
Jesus' upcoming words are a continuation of this speech, which includes a supernatural response from heaven. In keeping with Jesus' teachings about those who will or will not hear His voice. John 10:26–27; “But you do not believe, because you are not of My sheep, as I said to you. My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me, most of those who hear this divine answer will dismiss it as something natural and meaningless.
John 12:27–29; “Now My soul is troubled, and what shall I say? ‘Father, save Me from this hour’? But for this purpose I came to this hour. Father, glorify Your name.” Then a voice came from heaven, saying, “I have both glorified it and will glorify it again.” Therefore the people who stood by and heard it said that it had thundered. Others said, “An angel has spoken to Him.”
Psalm 33:12; “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, The people He has chosen as His own inheritance.”
Two nations specifically that God has chosen to be their Lord. First and foremost, Israel, Gods Chosen people. There are those that teach that God has forsaken the Jewish people. If you are one of those that believe that, then it is obvious that you have never read the Bible, and your knowledge comes directly from an unlearned source. If you take what you hear from most of the mainline denominations, know this, you are being lied to. But you obviously don’t know that because most likely you have never read the Bible for yourself. You may think that since you are involved in a church, you are going to heaven because you say that you believe in God. You know what, Satan believes in God, and he is not saved. Listen closely to this next Bible verse.
James 2:19; “You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble!” Most of those that say they know God, really don’t know God, if they did, they wouldn’t say and do the things that they continue to do. Keep in mind, every religion has a God. Know this, just because you say that you believe in God, does not make you a Christian. Its not until you receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior and become born again into the Holy Spirit that you are truly saved. Which brings me to the next Bible verse. John 3:3; “Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
Case closed, you are either born again or you are not. The choice that you make will have eternal consequences. Ask yourself this question, when was the last time you heard a sermon from the alter of your church on the topic of being born again. And I’m talking to the Catholics about being born again into the catholic faith, that does not save you. Being born again into the catholic faith is not supported any where in the Bible, its manmade just like many other doctrines in the catholic faith.
The second nation that God has blessed is America. I’m sure that most of us don’t have a clue why America is so blessed. Well, I’ll tell you. Its because of our stand with Israel all these years. When we turn on Israel, and we eventually will, God will judge America, just as He judged Sodom and Gomorrah. Let me share the next Bible verse that validates what I just said. Genesis 12: 3; “I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” These words are straight from God; do you believe Him or are you calling Him a Lier? Every nation that went up against Israel has been defeated and perished. If you are watching the news about Israel, which you should be, know this, Israel will defeat every nation that is going to come up against them in the next few months or years, without a doubt. Israel will never be uprooted again. Amos 9:15; “I will plant Israel in their own land, never again to be uprooted from the land I have given them,” says the LORD your God.” Notice the word, “Never.” Do you think God would go back on His covenant with His chosen people? If He would, He wouldn’t be a very reliable God. OH, and by the way, if God has forsaken the Jews because of their sinful ways, what makes us think that God will keep His covenant with America. America is lot worse morally than Israel ever was and more corrupt than Sodom and Gomorrah. America is on the edge of being judged, all that has to happen is for America to turn on Israel and it will happen. You can already see it on many of the college campuses. They go to college to get smart and in reality they are getting increasingly ignorant. They have allowed Satan access into every college campus in America, especially in the professors that are all demonically possessed. You have to be blind or ignorant to not see what is going on in America.
Now, let’s move on from what will happen to those that do not serve Jesus. We read in: 2 Peter 1:10-11; “Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble; for so an entrance will be supplied to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.”
Peter is saying that we should be diligent in our quest to serve our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Notice Peter says, that we make our call and election sure. So much for not being able to know if you are going to heaven or not. We can be sure, if you are not sure, then you are probably not right with Jesus Christ yet!
Let me share another huge decision we need to make in light of the days in which we are living. I am referring to the Israel/Iran war. Which side do you support? Let me enlighten you to a few facts that you will not hear on any American social media network. Israel is doing the world big a favor by eliminating the most radical satanic regime in the world. Iran has been known to quote the following many times. (Death to Israel and death to America. Their main focus is to destroy Israel and all the Jews so that there is not one Jew left standing. (And by the way, Israel will never be removed or uprooted again.) Israel will win this war without a doubt. Another piece of truth is this, Iran is targeting civilians, and trying to kill as many Jews as they can before they get defeated. Israel is targeting their military facilities and their nuclear facilities without targeting one Iranian soul. Israel does not hate the Iranian people. Even the Iranian people want their satanic regime removed from power and Israel is going to make that happen. Letting Iran have a nuclear bomb would be the same as if Adolph Hitler had a bomb. If Hitler had a nuclear bomb, we would all be speaking German under a communist regime that would be a very brutal life for those that he despised. This satanic evil regime of Iran has been the leader in terrorist attacks in our world for the last 50 years or so. After Israel takes out their nuclear facilities, the world will become much safer and there will be peace in the middle east for a time. I don’t believe this peace will last very long because of another prophecy that is about to come to fruition. So, for those of you that support Iran and their satanic regime, you are on the losing side, especially on the spiritual side. Hell awaits those that serve evil. So, if you have any sense at all and you want to see a safe world, pray for Israel and support their cause. They are fighting for the world, and our peace as a nation, not just themselves. If you can’t accept a free and peaceful America, get the hell out of here. See what Islam does to you if you are in their presence. You will beg to come back to America, if you can live through it.
That’s it for now. I think I made things very clear, if you continue to believe our radical evil social media, that is your choice. Remember, those that live by the sword will die by the sword. Our social media is deceiving millions of people just as the Bible said would happen in the end days. I’ll end with these verses for those that put faith in the Bible and believe that the Bible is the true and inherent word of God.
Matthew 24:4-14; “ And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.”
One more for you to think about.
2 Timothy 3: 1-7; “But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. (This is referring to the denominational churches) And from such people turn away! For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts, always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
So, are you going to believe all the deception that is permeating our airwaves, or are you going to believe what God told us would happen in the end days. We are there…don’t ignore the signs. He couldn't speak any louder than He is right now.
The question that will determine what choice you make is this, Do you believe the Bible is the true and inherent word of God? There are no if, and or buts about it. If you do not believe the Bible is 100% true and inherent, then you have no leg to stand and you have already chosen your eternal destination. Most churches, especially the denominational churches do not teach the Bible as if it is the Word of God. They have added and deleted so much of what the Bible teaches. When you stand before Jesus at the white throne judgement, you will be judged by what you believe as far as salvation is concerned, not how good you think you have been. The Bible is very clear on that topic.
The choice is your to make, nobody can make that choice for you!
For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever.
Amen!
