“Who will be Present in the Millennial Kingdom?- Author and Writer Ronald Nelson

Writer's picture: Ronald NelsonRonald Nelson

Today’s Bible Verse:

Revelation 20: 6; “Blessed and Holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.

First of all, let me say this right up front. This topic has been a subject of debate by many sects of Christianity for years. I believe that the one thousand year Millennial reign, where Jesus will rule and reign from the throne of David from Jerusalem is without a doubt, validated in the scriptures. The problem is this, many sects of Christianity feel they need to allegorize the whole book of Revelation to fit their beliefs because they don't understand the symbolism of the Book. When John wrote the book of Revelation, he didn't have the knowledge of what we have today. He had to do the best he could with symbolism to describe what would happen in the end days. When you study the book of Revelation, it is very easy to understand when you study and understand the rest of the Bible with the Holy Spirit as your guide, especially the Book of Daniel. If you don’t have the Holy Spirit dwelling within you, there is no way for you to understand the Book of Revelation nor any any other book of the Bible for that matter. Let me share a Bible verse that I am sure has never been taught from most of the pulpits of today, unless you attend a church that teaches the whole Bible, from Genesis through Revelation.

Revelation 22: 18-19; “For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book; and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the Book of Life, from the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.”

These two verses should tell us right up front, if you take away anything that is written in the Book of Revelation or add anything to this book, your name will be removed from the book of life. Hear what happens to those that are removed from the book of life.

Revelation 20:14-15; “Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.”

Pretty crystal clear if you ask me. If you do not read the Bible for yourself and you rely on what your pastor or priest teaches you, you better make sure that they are teaching the truth of the scriptures from Genesis through Revelation and not just the scriptures that they feel comfortable with. You will be held accountable for what you believe, and you are not going to be able to blame it on any church leaders of today. You better hope whoever you choose to teach you the Bible, teaches it as it is meant to be understood.

Now, let me start out by stating the obvious. Revelation 20 clearly describes a Millennial Kingdom, a 1,000-year literal period of time where Jesus Christ will rule and reign from David’s throne in Jerusalem. During this time Satan will be bound in the bottomless pit for one thousand years.

Hear what we read in Revelation 20:1-3; “Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years; and he cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal on him, so that he should deceive the nations no more till the thousand years were finished. But after these things he must be released for a little while.”

Can it be made anymore clearer? No need to allergize those three verses.

Many sects of Christianity today believe that we are now living in the one thousand year Millennial Kingdom. If that is the case, then I would have to say that Satan’s chain is way too long. With all the evil that is going on in this world, it should be obvious that Satan is alive and well, roaming the earth where his main focus is to destroy as many souls as he can before he is sent to the bottomless pit. He is currently not chained in the bottomless pit. These false teachers of today call it “Dominion Now Theology.” Those who hold these views believe that it is the duty of Christians to create a worldwide kingdom patterned after the Mosaic Law. They believe that Christ will not return to earth until such a kingdom has been established. Since the world is getting darker and darker as of each passing day, as the Bible declares would happen in the end time, it should be quite obvious that the days are not getting better, they are getting worse and worse with each waking day.

We read in Matthew 24:22; where it is very clear that Jesus will not return to a peaceful time. “And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened.”

This verse is describing the days just before the return of Jesus Christ. It makes be wonder if these so-called Bible teachers ever read from the Bible. What does it say, no flesh would be saved. It’s very clear that the days will continue to get darker and darker until Jesus finally comes back. Where they might be deceived is this, during the first three and a half years into the tribulation, there will be a false sense of peace propagated by the Antichrist, and then after the first three and a half years all hell will literally break loose on earth and will usher in the worst time in human history. This fact is spoken of by Jesus Christ Himself, where Jesus is warning the Jewish people what will take place in the middle of the tribulation.

We read in Matthew 24:15“Therefore when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place” (whoever reads, let him understand),;

If you are unsaved at this time, you will suffer the wrath of God Himself. It will be worse than anything that you could imagine.

Now, let’s get back to the question at hand, who will populate the Millennial Kingdom? In some cases, it will be very clear who will be with Jesus in this Millennial Kingdom. 1 Thessalonians 4:17 notes that believers in Jesus Christ who join Him during the Rapture will be with Him forever, which I’m sure will include the Millennial Kingdom.

1 Thessalonians 4:17; “Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.”

Therefore, every Jewish believer and Born-Again Christian from the time of Jesus Christ on earth to the Rapture of the church will be in the millennial kingdom. There will also be those who are resurrected after Christ returns to earth.

Revelation 20:4-6; describes these individuals. “And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. (This last verse is speaking of those that did not believe on Jesus Christ and they will remain in Hades for one thousand years until the White Throne Judgement)This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.”

Verse 4 notes, "Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.”

This includes people who will come to faith in Jesus Christ after the rapture and will be put to death for their faith in Jesus during the tribulation period. In Ezekiel 37:12-14; it implies that believers in the Lord prior to Jesus' death, resurrection, and the start of the church on the Day of Pentecost will dwell in the Promised Land with the Lord.

Ezekiel 37:12-14; “Therefore prophesy and say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “Behold, O My people, I will open your graves and cause you to come up from your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel. Then you shall know that I am the Lord, when I have opened your graves, O My people, and brought you up from your graves. I will put My Spirit in you, and you shall live, and I will place you in your own land. Then you shall know that I, the Lord, have spoken it and performed it,” says the Lord.”

It is obvious that all those that died prior to the (Age of Grace) or more commonly known as (The Church Age), will also populate the Millennial kingdom. These are those that believed by faith before the first coming of Jesus Christ. They took the prophecies of Jesus’s first coming seriously, but those that did not take prophecies seriously, died outside the will of God. I don’t believe that any gentiles that died during this time will be resurrected to populate the Millennial Kingdom. Of course, I could be wrong. The reason that I say this is because all the nations that were in existence during the days before Christ, hated the Jewish people, and until Pentecost, where the Age of Grace started, gentiles were not saved. That also applies to those that have a hatred the Jews today. You can’t hate the Jews and then say that you love their King, which is Jesus Christ. Without getting into too much detail, you may have noticed that once again antisemitism is rearing its ugly head. If you appose Gods chosen people, I can say with certainty, you will not inherit the Kingdom of God. So, think twice before you judge God’s chosen people.

This is where most sects of Christianity really miss the boat. They say God has cast off the Jews and now all the promises to Israel fall on the church. Another big lie from the pit of hell. In the last video I share many verses that prove that God is not through with Israel, so I won’t go over it again. https://encouragerbook.wixsite.com/encourager/videos for those that are interested in what is going on in Israel. And last but not least, it appears that those people who become believers during the seven-year tribulation who do not die will enter the Millennial Kingdom as well.

We read in Matthew 25:31-46; “When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the Holy Angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left. (This will take place at the end of the tribulation) Then the King (Jesus) will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: for I was hungry, and you gave Me food; I was thirsty, and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger, and you took Me in; I was naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me.’

“Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’

“Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels: for I was hungry, and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty, and you gave Me no drink; I was a stranger, and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.’

“Then they also will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?’ Then He will answer them, saying, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’ And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”

In other words, everything that we do in the name of Jesus Christ, will be recognized by Jesus Christ at the Sheep and Goat judgement, which takes place at His second coming. These believers that inherit the Millennial Kingdom will live long lives, marry, and have children,

Something to keep in mind. If God blessed you with financial wealth, and you do nothing to help those in need, then money is your God and will be judged accordingly. That doesn’t mean that you will go to hell if you are rich, but if you are rich, then you will most likely not feel that you need Jesus Christ for anything, and He will not be a part of your life.

We read this truth in, Matthew 19:24;And again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.”

We read in Isaiah 65:20-25; where the prophet explains what it will be like during the Millennial Kingdom. “No more shall an infant from there live but a few days, Nor an old man who has not fulfilled his days; For the child shall die one hundred years old, But the sinner being one hundred years old shall be accursed. They shall build houses and inhabit them; They shall plant vineyards and eat their fruit. They shall not build, and another inhabit; They shall not plant, and another eat; For as the days of a tree, so shall be the days of My people, And My elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands. They shall not labor in vain, Nor bring forth children for trouble; For they shall be the descendants of the blessed of the Lord, And their offspring with them. “It shall come to pass, That before they call, I will answer; And while they are still speaking, I will hear. The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, The lion shall eat straw like the ox, And dust shall be the serpent’s food. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain,” Says the Lord.”

I believe the Millennial Kingdom will be just like the Garden of Eden before the curse of sin that was brought about by Adam and Eve. Back in those days, people lived well into their hundreds and beyond. An example, Methuselah was 969 years old when he died. There are a lot of Bible verses that describe what it will be like during the Millennial Kingdom.

All the people that I mentioned in this video will live with the Lord during this time period. During this time, as I mentioned before, Satan will be bound in chains, which will usher in a time of peace for the Jews in the Promised Land. The curse of sin will not completely be removed until the new heavens and new earth, however, many of the effects of sin will be changed, as people live longer life spans, peace exists, and Satan is bound during this time.

Without reading all the verses of Revelation 21 and 22, I’ll leave that up to you. It covers a lot of what I went over. Read it and take your time, so you can understand what is written. Remember what John wrote in;

Revelation 1:3; “Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near.”

There is a personal blessing to all who read and understand the book of Revelation. When you read and understand the Book of Revelation, it will actually bring you much comfort if you are a true Born-Again Believer in Jesus Christ. No doom and gloom for the true followers of Jesus Christ. Though many aspects of life during the Millennial Kingdom are unknown or are not completely clear, it is comforting to know that all of God's people will dwell with Him in safety and peace during this time. The best preparation on our part today is to make certain we know Christ, that we live for Him, and share Him with others. Here are two verses that give us all hope that we can be saved. John 3:16; “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”

1 John 5:13; “These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.”

These last two verse that I just read are promises from God. If you have been taught that you have been predestined from before the foundation of the world, read again what it says in John 3:16. Are you a whoever? If you are, then you can accept Jesus at any time. God just knows in advance if you will choose to believe or reject Jesus Christ. You have the choice; you have not been predestined too hell. You will, however, go to hell if you reject Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior and do not become Born-Again into the Holy Spirit. It’s totally up to you where you spend eternity. And once you become Born-Again into the Holy Spirit, then the Bible tells us that we may know that we have eternal life with Jesus Christ. We know, not think. Wouldn’t you like to know that you are saved, I would hope so.

Where this is rebuked is in the sect of Christianity that teaches that we are saved by works. They teach that you will not know if you are going heaven until you die. If you die not knowing if you are saved or not, most likely you are not saved, because once again, good works cannot save you. I told someone once that I knew that I was going to heaven and she said this to me, “How can you be so bold to make a statement like that?” Well, once you receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you are saved, if your confession of faith is true. I say this because of who I put my trust in, His name is Jesus Christ. I don’t put my trust in good works or anything outside of the Grace of God.

I say this because of the following Bible verse.

1 Corinthians 15:1-2; “Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you, unless you believed in vain.”

If your confession of faith is just lip service, know this, God knows your heart and you will be judged by the intentions of your heart, so don’t think for a minute that you can fool God.

Because of all the evil that is taking place in our world, and all the prophecies that are being fulfilled, I personally believe that the time is near. How near, Nobody can know for sure, but the Bible gives us all the signs that we should be looking for that will come to fruition just before Jesus returns. All those prophesies are converting at once with 100% accuracy as to what we should be watching for.

Let me end with this. If you are attending a church that isn’t preparing you for what is coming, they are doing you a great injustice and they will be responsible for all those that were not prepared for the soon return of Jesus Christ. If you don’t get right with Jesus, you will be left behind to face the most horrible time in human history. Don’t be deceived. The truth is in the scriptures of God’s Word, there will be no excuse for not knowing what is coming.

Last thought for today. When you went to college or high school, what did you do before a major exam. You studied day and night so you could pass. Then my question to you is this, Why would you not study the Bible. There is a final exam coming, only the consequence of failing this exam will be eternity in hell. Read the Bible while there is still time. Once the Rapture of the church takes place, the age of grace will be over, and you will be thrown into the worst time in human history known as “The Great Tribulation”. Whether people believe this or not doesn’t matter, what is written in the pages of the Bible will come to fruition.

I hope you take this message to heart, and let me end with this, “The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace.”
