BIBLE MEDITATION: “Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.” Matthew 6:10

ENCOURAGING WORD:

There happens to be a huge void in the Christian churches of today which lead to the lack of understanding of what is to come in the very near future. We read a couple of verses from Revelation that you will never hear taught from any mainline denominational churches. Revelation 20:1-3; Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, holding the key to the abyss and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold of the dragon, the serpent of old, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years; and He threw him into the abyss, and shut it and sealed it over him, so that he would not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were completed; after these things he must be released for a short time.” This verse is clearly referring to the millennial reign of Jesus Christ here on earth. When we say “Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven” we are praying for His kingdom that is yet future. Every Christian church makes sure that they pray this prayer during their service, yet very few know what they are praying for.

Some take it to mean Gods kingdom should be lived on earth as it would be in heaven and I'm not going to rebuke that idea. The problem is, there is no way for us to live on earth as we will be in the glorious kingdom that is yet future because of who the ruler of this world is that we are now living in. When man fell from grace six thousand years ago, God gave the world over to Satan, but that will change when God comes back to set up His Millennial Kingdom at the end of the seven year tribulation. It is then that His will, will be done, because it will be a perfect environment where Satan will be locked up in chains in the abyss for one thousand years.

We read in John 18:36; "Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence." This verse is taken out of context by the mainline churches that it makes it hard to understand the rest of the scriptures. In this passage, the word "now" is not speaking about the spiritual Kingdom of God (within the heart of the redeemed), but of a literal political Kingdom yet to come on this Earth. You should also take note that the word "now" has been removed from many newer Bible translations. The reason is because most of the translators of today's "Bibles" are Amillennial in their position on prophecy. In other words, they do not accept the literal return of the Lord Jesus Christ to reign on the Earth for a thousand years as foretold in in the book of Revelations. The kingdom that is spoken of here is the Kingdom that will be set up right after the seven-year tribulation spoken of by Daniel the Prophet. Also, the world that He is referring to is the world system that is currently being controlled by Satan. , not the earth that we currently occupy as we know it. We read in Zechariah 14:9; “and the Lord shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Lord, and his name one.” To get the full scope of what this verse is referring to, read Zechariah 14:1-21. Jesus is going to rule and reign from Jerusalem for one thousand years. This is the kingdom that we all want to be a part of, but unfortunately, like the Bible says, few will be that find the way as we read in Matthew 7:14; Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.”

There is another kingdom that is coming very soon and once again, it is not taught in any mainline denominational churches. That is the kingdom of antichrist. This is the kingdom that you do not what to be a part of but once again, unfortunately many will be who enter this horrible time. Matthew 7:13; Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it.” The good news is you still have time to decide which one that you want to be a part of.

We have just been cast into a horrible time in our world where it may seem hopeless at best. People are running like scared rabbits through a fox hole. Know this, the experience that we are facing right now is so miner in scope compared to what is coming soon. I believe that God is giving us our last warning before He returns to remove His bride (Born-again Christians) from earth and then the worst time in human history will begin, what is known to Bible believers as the seven-year tribulation. This is what Jesus had to say about this time that is yet future, Matthew 24:21; “For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be.” This time that is coming is going to make all the other events such as World War I, World War II and the Holocaust look like a walk in the park.

I do not find joy in proclaiming the evil side of this message, but let me ask you this, if I knew that you had a disease that was going to kill you, and I knew there was a cure, wouldn’t you want me to tell you about it? Well, that is exactly what I am proclaiming. These scare tactics that we are going through is just a preview of what is to come, but then it will not be just scare tactics, it will be the real thing. God is giving us one more chance to receive His Son, Jesus Christ and it is up to us to decide. There are thousands of great Bible scholars that have been studying this event for the last fifty years or so and they all agree that the time is near. How near, we don’t know for sure, but it is to close for someone to put off for one more day their decision to receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. So, all you need to do is ask yourself this question; “What Kingdom do I want to be a part of “Jesus Christ is waiting for your answer, but He won’t wait forever! If you do not believe this truth, that is up to you, but please, at least search the scriptures for yourself and let The Holy Spirit speak to you personally. He will speak to you just as He spoke to me twenty-five years ago! Chose today, who you will serve!
