“History cannot be Changed” Author and Writer Ronald Nelson

BIBLE MEDITATION:

"He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away." Revelation 21:4:

ENCOURAGING WORD:

There is no way that we can change the history of the past any more than we can change prophecies that are in the future. To God, everything that is in our future for us is History to Him. He knows everything that will happen to us until the day that we die. He even knows the exact day that we will pass on from this life to the eternal. Psalm 90:12; “So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.”

Matthew 6:27; “And who of you by being worried can add a single hour to his life?

God's people should live in light of serving Jesus Christ, not money Matthew 6:19–24; “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in or steal; for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. “The eye is the lamp of the body; so then, if your eye is clear, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. So, if the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness! “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and wealth.”

I have to say that this is where the rubber meets the road. Faith and Worry are opposites. If you are worrying about something that is happening in your life right now, then you’re not trusting God to do what is best for you. Since He already knows everything that is going happen in your life, There is nothing that we can do to change it. If you are a Christian, then you need to read and meditate on the following Bible verse; Romans 8:28; And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

This is my number one memory verse, but I have to admit, there are times when it is hard to believe that something bad that is happening in my life, is actually working out for good. So, I find myself in a situation where I have to remind myself what is said in Romans 8:28. I say to God that I can’t believe what is happening in my life is actually working out for good, but your (God’s) word says it, so I believe it and I find comfort immediately in that promise. Now, just let me clarify something, this only applies to God’s children, those that are born again and have given their heart to the Holy Spirit. If you do not become born again, then everything that happens in your life is not necessarily working out for good. You are on your own and under the power of the prince of the air (Satan). I know this is a hard pill to swallow, but all this information that I am sharing is written in the scriptures. Some of the most important things that are written in the Bible are the last things you will ever hear in your denominational church. Once again, religion’s do not teach the Bible, they teach religion.

Next, Jesus commanded His followers to reject anxiety about money, even if they don't know what they will eat or wear. Worrying about money when you don't have any, still amounts to serving money instead of God. Those who serve God trust God to provide all they truly need. Worry is evidence of faulty faith. Matthew 6:25–26; “For this reason I say to you, do not be worried about your life, as to what you will eat or what you will drink; nor for your body, as to what you will put on. Is life not more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the sky, that they do not sow, nor reap, nor gather crops into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more important than they?

I need to clarify something very important. I don’t share these scriptures because I think I am good. I’m not good and the word of God clarifies that. I share these messages because I need to remind myself what the Bible teaches. I learn more from writing theses blogs than I do studying. I do my research, so I know that what I teach is absolute truth. Listen to the list that Romans says about the human race.

Romans 3:10-18; As it is written:

There is no righteous person, not even one; There is no one who understands the Word of God;There is no one who seeks out God;They have all turned aside, together they have become corrupt; There is no one who does good,There is not even one.”Their throat is an open grave,With their tongues they keep deceiving,”The venom of asps is under their lips”;Their mouth is full of cursing and bitterness”;Their feet are swift to shed blood,Destruction and misery are in their paths ,And they have not known the way of peace.”There is no fear of God before their eyes.”

Next time you think you are going to heaven because you think you’re good enough, go through this list and see what God has to say to you. This should close the door on “Saved by Works” There is nothing that we can do to earn salvation. Our salvation has already been paid for at the cross two thousand years ago; all we have to do is believe and live like we believe to prove our conversion to Jesus Christ is not in vain. There was only one good person who ever walked this earth and that was Jesus Christ. So, if you think you are as good as Jesus, then, and only then could you get to heaven by being good.

1 Corinthians 15; “Now I (The Apostle Paul) make known to you, brothers and sisters, the gospel which I (The Apostle Paul) preached to you, which you also received, in which you also stand, by which you also are saved, if you hold firmly to the word which I preached to you, unless you believed in vain.”

Those that say that they believe and then feel like they have to earn their salvation are those that this verse is referring to. This verse should scare the heck out of everybody.

Jesus points out another problem with anxiety, fear, and worry, they're useless. They don't work. They don't help. Those emotions are powerless, so far as those actual needs are concerned. Anxiety is a natural human response, especially when you're wondering how to feed your family. Still, it's a brute fact that worry, in and of itself, can't add a single hour to anyone's life. Worry is ineffective. Of course, many will protest that anxiety is not simply something we can remove. God knows this, and understands how difficult it is to put trust in Him when times are difficult. In fact, this is why these reminders are in Scripture. If being a born-again believer made all our fears and doubts disappear, there would be no reason for God to remind us not to worry! Jesus will continue in this passage to show why it is essential for God's people to make an effort to shed worry. Worry and anxiety are something that God allows us to go through to see how much faith that we have in Him.

The Bible outlines future history primarily through prophetic literature. It spans the rise and fall of empires, global tribulations, the return of Christ, and the ultimate establishment of God's eternal kingdom. God has written the entire future of all things that have taken place and will take place. There is nothing that we can do about it. The question that I have is this; why do Christian Pastors and Preist’s reject the teaching of God’s prophetic warnings.

Here are a few key verses capturing this prophetic timeline of world empires.

The Course of World Empires

Daniel 2:44; "In the time of those kings, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed, nor will it be left to another people. It will crush all those kingdoms and bring them an end, but it will itself endure forever." The phrase "in the days of those kings" may refer to the ten rulers represented in other end times prophecies. The Kingdom that will never be destroyed is the one-thousand-year Millennial Kingdom that follows the tribulation period. This is another truth that you won’t hear in any of the denominational churches. If I am wrong, someone please correct me.

Context: Interpreting King Nebuchadnezzar's dream, Daniel reveals the chronological succession of human kingdoms, culminating in the eternal reign of God. Every one of these Kingdoms that are mentioned in this dream, came about and ended just as King Nebuchadnezzar dreamed. We can’t change what already happened any more than we can change what’s going to happen in the future. The future has been written in advance of everything that is going to soon take place. See, we need to understand that God sees the beginning of creation all the way to the end of time as we know it. God knows everything that is going to happen. You may say, that doesn’t sound much like free will to me. We all have free will to do whatever we want to do, God just knows what choices that we are going to make. To us, this may seem to be very confusing, and it is. That is why we read in the following verse; Proverbs 3:5-6; “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

This is very prevalent in the days in which we live and the main reason why we have so many different denominations. Most of these church leaders only know religion, they don’t know what true Christianity is all about. The only way to know the truth of God’s Word is to become born again and receive the Holy Spirit into your heart. Only the Holy Spirit can reveal the truth to us. The two mainline denominations that we are familiar with do not teach that you must be born again, therefore, they end up teaching religion and most of what they teach have nothing to do with salvation.

Now back to the prophecy of Nebuchadnezzar. At the end of Nebuchadnezzar's disturbing dream, he saw a supernatural stone shatter the base of a massive statue.

Daniel 2:1–3; “Now in the second year of Nebuchadnezzar’s reign, Nebuchadnezzar had dreams; and his spirit was so troubled that his sleep left him. Then the king gave the command to call the magicians, the astrologers, the sorcerers, and the Chaldeans to tell the king his dreams. So, they came and stood before the king. And the king said to them, “I have had a dream, and my spirit is anxious to know the dream.”

Daniel 2:27–28; “Daniel answered in the presence of the king, and said, “The secret which the king has demanded, the wise men, the astrologers, the magicians, and the soothsayers cannot declare to the king. But there is a God in heaven who reveals secrets, and He has made known to King Nebuchadnezzar what will be in the latter days. Your dream, and the visions of your head upon your bed, were these:”

None of the Kings magicians, or astrologers, or sorcerers, or the Chaldeans could grant the kings’ request. As a result, all his servants were killed. Daniel came forward and he was able to reveal the dream and the meaning of the dream to Nebuchadnezzar.  We read this in;

Daniel 2:31–34; “You, O king, were watching; and behold, a great image! This great image, whose splendor was excellent, stood before you; and its form was awesome. This image’s head was of fine gold, its chest and arms of silver, its belly and thighs of bronze, its legs of iron, its feet partly of iron and partly of clay. You watched while a stone was cut out without hands, which struck the image on its feet of iron and clay, and broke them in pieces.

The statue's components were pulverized, and the stone grew to fill the entire earth. Daniel 2:35; “Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver, and the gold were crushed together, and became like chaff from the summer threshing floors; the wind carried them away so that no trace of them was found. And the stone that struck the image became a great mountain and filled the whole earth.

Daniel had explained the dream as a prophecy about the kingdoms which would rule after Babylon. They all came to fruition just as the prophecy was explained.

Daniel 2:36; “This is the dream. Now we will tell the interpretation of it before the king.”

This would be represented by the statue's head; Daniel 2:37–38; “You, O king, are a king of kings. For the God of heaven has given you a kingdom, power, strength, and glory; and wherever the children of men dwell, or the beasts of the field and the birds of the heaven, He has given them into your hand and has made you ruler over them all, you are this head of gold.”

This would be followed by the Medo-Persian, Greek, and Roman Empires; Daniel 2:39–43; “But after you shall arise another kingdom inferior to yours; then another, a third kingdom of bronze, which shall rule over all the earth. And the fourth kingdom shall be as strong as iron, inasmuch as iron breaks into pieces and shatters everything; and like iron that crushes, that kingdom will break into pieces and crush all the others.  Whereas you saw the feet and toes, partly of potter’s clay and partly of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; yet the strength of the iron shall be in it, just as you saw the iron mixed with ceramic clay. And as the toes of the feet were partly of iron and partly of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong and partly fragile. As you saw iron mixed with ceramic clay, they will mingle with the seed of men; but they will not adhere to one another, just as iron does not mix with clay.”

In this verse, the symbolism of the stone is revealed. The stone which shattered the statue is a Kingdom set up by God, which will never be overthrown. Daniel reiterates that the stone, this future kingdom, would not be established by human hands, but by the power of the Lord.

Some who hold this view see the nation formed by the stone in Nebuchadnezzar's dream as this literal government headed by Christ. As with some of Daniel's other prophecies Daniel 9:24–27 this interpretation implies there are time gaps between events. I won’t get into the prophecies of Daniel 9:24-27 at this time just to say that the prophecy Daniel gave took 483 to the time of Jesus. The last seven years will be the last seven years which is in the near horizon to finish the 490-year prophecy. We refer to this seven-year period as (The Great Tribulation) This is another prophecy that is not taught in the denomination sects of Christianity. Not only do they not teach the truth, but they also actually deny the truth. They are calling God a liar. Those that hold to this false doctrine will not like Gods response at the White Throne Judgment when they call Him a liar. The consequence of calling God a liar will not be favorable when your sentencing is over for you.

Daniel 2:45; “Inasmuch as you saw that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it broke in pieces the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver, and the gold, the great God has made known to the king what will come to pass after this. The dream is certain, and its interpretation is sure.”

While hindsight and history identify the other kingdoms of Nebuchadnezzar's dream, there is some debate about the exact identity of this final realm. It will most likely be a revived Roman empire that is in the near future. We are about to witness the last Kingdom that God was describing that will take us up to the Millennial Kingdom of Jesus Christ. The one-thousand-year Millennial Kingdom will be the last and final Kingdom that will take place. After the Millennial Kingdom is over, then the “White Throne Judgement” will commence to take place where all those that rejected Jesus Christ while they were alive, will be sentenced to their eternal destination which will be the “Lake of Burning Fire.” This is revealed by the Holy Spirit as He revealed to Daniel the prophet. It will take place just as was prophesied to Daniel. You can bank on it and if you are alive today, you may be here to see this prophecy fulfilled. Take my word for it, you don’t want to be here. But the choice is yours! The best Bible scholars of today believe the end time kingdom will be the Millennial Kingdom: Christ's personal, direct, earthly political rule over the world for a thousand years. The initial followers of Jesus anticipated this kind of rule. Acts 1:6; “Therefore, when they had come together, they asked Him, (Jesus) saying, “Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?”

Descriptions in the book of Revelation and other Old Testament prophecies also suggest such political fulfillment.

The Thousand Years

Revelation 20:1-6; “And I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key to the Abyss and holding in his hand a great chain. He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil, or Satan, and bound him for a thousand years. He threw him into the Abyss, and locked and sealed it over him, to keep him from deceiving the nations anymore until the thousand years were ended. After that, he must be set free for a short time.”

Some teach that we are now living in the one-thousand-year Millennial Kingdom. They belief that Satan is now bound and chained in the Abyss now. If Satan is bound and tied, I would say that he has a very long chain. Our world is getting worse and worse every day because Satan is alive and well roaming the earth to destroy as many souls as he can. He knows his time is near where he will be cast into the Abyss. That has not taken place yet, but it will. The Word of God declares it.

I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God(These are those that came to Christ during the tribulation.) They had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years. (The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.) This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years.”

Keep this thought in mind; If you are born once, you die twice, If you are born twice, you die once. We are all born once, but those that give their Lives to Jesus Christ are born again (Second Birth) We must all receive the second birth to enter the Kingdom of God. Ther are no if, and, or buts about it.

The sad part is this, if you belong to a denominational church that does not teach through Revelation, you will not have any knowledge of this truth. You will be taught a whole different ending for this world and the end of mankind as we know it now. You are already being deceived, just as the Bible declares would take place in the end days. This is another prophecy that is not being taught by the pastors and priests of these denominational churches, yet they are the ones fulfilling this prophecy.

The stone in the dream strikes the brittle, clay-iron amalgam of the Roman Empire, and then grows to fill the earth.

Daniel 2:34–35; “You watched while a stone was cut out without hands, which struck the image on its feet of iron and clay, and broke them in pieces. Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver, and the gold were crushed together, and became like chaff from the summer threshing floors; the wind carried them away so that no trace of them was found. And the stone that struck the image became a great mountain and filled the whole earth.

Daniel 7:7–8; “After this I kept looking in the night visions, and behold, a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and extremely strong; and it had large iron teeth. It devoured and crushed, and trampled down the remainder with its feet; and it was different from all the beasts that were before it, and it had ten horns. While I was thinking about the horns, behold, another horn, a little one, came up among them, and three of the previous horns were plucked out before it; and behold, this horn possessed eyes like human eyes, and a mouth uttering great boasts.”

Daniel’s prophecy revealed in; Revelation 13:1; “And the dragon stood on the sand of the seashore. Then I saw a beast coming up out of the sea, having ten horns and seven heads, and on his horns were ten crowns, and on his heads were blasphemous names.

The Return of Christ

Revelation 1:7: "Look, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him; and all people on earth will mourn because of him. So shall it be! Amen."

Context: This verse sets the stage for the New Testament's ultimate climax in history: the literal, visible return of Jesus Christ to the earth. In this verse John looks forward to the second coming of Jesus Christ. It is important not to confuse the second coming with the rapture. The rapture occurs when Jesus comes in the sky and catches up Christians from the earth to be with Him. The rapture is a secret event, in the sense that only those who are saved will see Jesus. On the other hand, the second coming is a public event. John declares that every eye will see Jesus at the second coming. It can’t be both ways, so they have to be different events. Also, the tribes of Israel will have undergone a national revival when Jesus comes again. There is no mention of such a revival before the rapture. John recalls what Zechariah had prophesied about Israel's revival when Jesus comes to earth again.

Zechariah 12:10 prophesies, "And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and pleas for mercy, so that, when they look on me, on him whom they have pierced, they shall mourn for Him, as one mourns for an only child, and weep bitterly over him, as one weeps over a firstborn."

Likely, John remembers what the angel told him and the other apostles when Jesus ascended into heaven. The angel promised that Jesus would come again in the same way as He went into heaven. Then, Jesus ascended in a cloud from the Mount of Olives.

Acts 1:11–12; “and they said, "Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into the sky? This Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in just the same way as you have watched Him go into heaven."  Then they returned to Jerusalem from the mountain called Olivet, which is near Jerusalem, a Sabbath day's journey away.”

His second coming, He will return from the clouds to the Mount of Olives. Zechariah 14:4;” On that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, which is in front of Jerusalem on the east; and the Mount of Olives will be split in its middle from east to west forming a very large valley. Half of the mountain will move toward the north, and the other half toward the south.”

Matthew 24:29–30; “But immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. And then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky with power and great glory.

Revelation 1:7; “Behold, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him; and all the tribes of the earth will mourn over Him. So, it is to be. Amen.

We, too, should eagerly anticipate the second coming, because Jesus will reign over the earth, and we will reign with Him. 2 Timothy 2:12;If we endure, we will also reign with Him;If we deny Him, He will also deny us;”

The New Heaven and Earth

Revelation 21:4; "He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away."

Mature Christians know life brings trials and trouble as well as blessings and comfort. Pain and sorrow are inevitable in this life. Even Job, a righteous man in God's sight, experienced personal pain and sorrow. Nevertheless, he retained faith in the Lord and the assurance that he would ultimately be resurrected and would see his Redeemer on the earth.

Job 19:25–27; “Yet as for me, I know that my Redeemer lives, And at the last, He will take His stand on the earth. Even after my skin is destroyed, Yet from my flesh I will see God, Whom I, on my part, shall behold for myself, And whom my eyes will see, and not another. My heart faints within me!”

Christians, too, look beyond suffering and sorrow to the eternal day, when "what is mortal may be swallowed up by life" Notice what it says; Yet from my flesh I will see God,” When the resurrection of the saints take place, (Born again Believers in the Rapture) All those that get raptured will receive their Glorified bodies at that time. If you belong to a denominational church, you will not be taught this truth. What a shame it is, not to know the glory that awaits you if you give your life to Jesus Christ and become born again into the Holy Spirit. All this is in the scriptures as events that are going to take place shortly.

Why would you listen to those that don’t teach the truth. It’s your life and it’s your destiny as to what you choose. Get right with Jesus and punch your eternal ticket to paradise, or continue to learn religion that does not teach the Bible. You still have time, but how much time, nobody knows the exact date but based on all the signs God is giving us, it is going to be sooner than later. Noticeably absent from the New Jerusalem are tears, death, mourning, crying and pain, sorrow, mourning, the passing of friends and loved ones, and dying are all harsh realities of this life, but they will be over once and for all when we take up residence in the New Jerusalem. No wonder the apostle Paul regarded his death as gain, Philippians 1:21; “For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain.

Revelation 20 described the total and complete defeat of all sin and evil. This verse describes the reality which comes about when God has enacted His judgment. All wrongs are made right, all sin is separated, and all suffering of all kinds are gone.

So, do not ignore the final warnings of this life that God has provided us. They are written for our knowledge and given to us for instruction of what will take place in the very near future. Get ready, and prepare for what is coming or wait until it is too late.

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.

TIME IS RUNNING OUT!
TIME IS RUNNING OUT!
