BIBLE MEDITATION: Romans 11:1; “I say then, has God cast away His people? Certainly not!”
ENCOURAGING WORD:
There is a doctrine that is being taught in the mainline denominations that believe in Replacement Theology, which teaches that God has cast off Israel and now all the promises made to Israel fall on the church. I can say with certainty based on the scriptures of the Bible that this is a very dangerous doctrine and in a sense, it is calling God a liar! God has made many covenants with Israel, some conditional and some unconditional. When God uses the turn "Everlasting" that is exactly what He means.
Here we read in Genesis 17:7; "And I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you in their generations, for an "Everlasting Covenant," to be God to you and your descendants after you."
Did you read the same words that I just read? “Everlasting Covenant” This promise was an unconditional covenant, which clearly means that the Jews can do nothing to forfeit this promise. This verse in Genesis should put an end to the ridiculous doctrine of Replacement Theology. If God could go back on His promise to the Jews, then why should we believe He will not forsake the church as well?
We also read in Genesis 17:7-8; "And I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you in their generations, for an "Everlasting Covenant," to be God to you and your descendants after you. Also I give to you and your descendants after you the land in which you are a stranger, all the land of Canaan, as an "Everlasting Possession;" and I will be their God.”
Once again we read the word Everlasting! Do you want to serve a God that don’t keep His promises…Not me!
In Genesis 12:3; God made another promise, "I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”
This verse still applies to today and is the sole reason why America has been blessed all these years. God’s covenant with Abraham is an unconditional covenant. God has chosen Abraham’s offspring to be His people for all generations. Nothing they could do, could cause them to forfeit this promise that God made to Israel. God will bless all people and nations through Abraham. Jesus was the unchangeable, irrevocable promise of God for His people. We, as a country have fallen deep into sin and apostasy, but because we are still an ally of Israel. God continues to bless us even though we aren’t deserving of His blessings. If you don’t believe this, you soon will, because as soon as we, as a nation turn against Israel, I can guarantee, by the Word of God, that judgement will come to America and come with Gods wrath.
All that we are seeing in the Middle East is clear evidence that the world is starting to turn on Israel, just as the Bible declares would happen in the end days. Even America is starting to turn on Israel. The last few administrations, with the exception of Donald Trump, have not been supporters of Israel. Say what you will about Donald Trump, but his support of Israel has kept us in good standing with God. But that day will come to an end, when we don't know for sure, but I believe we will see this all come to fruition within the next few of years. Maybe sooner, only God knows.
We read in Zechariah 12:3; "And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all the peoples; all that burden themselves with it shall be sore wounded; and all the nations of the earth shall be gathered together against it."
We are the only nation that is preventing this prophecy from coming to fruition. Ask yourself these few questions. Why is Israel, (The size of Rhode Island) so important that the whole world will join forces against her to have her destroyed? Why would God regather Israel in the last days if He didn’t have a plan for His chosen people? Most of the denominational churches don’t have any idea, so they do the best they can to explain all this away. First of all, let me explain the spiritual side of why this is taking place. This will not be accepted by many of the denominational churches of today because they do not believe in Bible prophecy. Lets start out by reading the following Bible verse.
Matthew 23:39; “For I say to you, you shall see Me no more till you say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’ ”
Jesus said this about Jerusalem one week before He would be crucified. Jesus knew that the Jewish people would betray Him and put Him to death, (Death on the cross) Because of this, Jesus pronounced Spiritual blindness on the nation of Israel. But notice, Jesus said until you say “‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’ The day is coming when this will take place. Before this happens, there will be a time when Israel will think that they are living in peace, when in reality, it will be a false sense of peace that will only last three and one half years. This will take place during the first three and one half years into the tribulation. Now, let me explain what is behind all this hate. It is Satan and his demonic forces. See, based on the Bible verse above in Matthew 23:39; Jesus is telling the Jews that He will not come back until they say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’ ” This will happen when Israel has their backs up against the wall and the only option left for them is to finally cry out to Jesus. The point is this, if Satan can annihilate all the Jews from the planet earth, he would thwart the plan of God and He would win. No Jews, no Jesus. The world then would be totally taken over by Satan and eventually the human race would not exist. In other words, no Second Coming, no Millennial Kingdom. But know this, I can promise you this by the written authority of God, this scenario will not happen. Satan has always been behind all the hate that has come up against the Jewish people. Look at how many times in history where certain nations wanted to kill the Jews. Haman had a plan to kill all the Jews back in the Book of Esther. Throughout history, Haman has represented attempts to wipe out the Jewish people, while his fate, in turn, demonstrates that God has never abandoned His chosen people. Also, more obvious to us, people that wanted to kill Jews were, Stalin and Hitler. Nobody was able to destroy the Jewish people, and nobody ever will. But Satan will try one more time during the tribulation, but once again, God will intervene and once and for all, He will destroy all of Israel's enemies and deliver Israel into the Promised Land. Which is the Millennial Kingdom that was promised to them thousands of years ago.
Considering recent events that are taking place in the Middle East, the stage is set for the fulfillment of this prophecy, along with Ezekiel 38, 39. Ezekiel’s prophecy describes an invasion of Israel by a coalition of countries, specifically Russia, Iran, and Turkey — from Syria! But God intervenes miraculously on Israel’s behalf. “Then all the world will know that God is who He said He was all this time..”
Now let me paint a clearer picture that might make more sense to the average person. In Ezekiel 38, It mentions an alliance of nations that will come up against Israel in the last days. I’ll give you the names of the nations as they were know by in the Biblical days and then I’ll give you their names as they are known by today. The ones that are mentioned are Rosh, Meshech, Tubal, Persia, Ethiopia, Gomar and Libya. They are known today as Russia, (Rosh), Modern day Turkey (Meshech and Tubal), Modern day Iran, (Persia,) Ethiopia, (Sudan), Part of Modern day Turkey (Gomar), and Libya, this land is still known as Libya today.
Here is where it gets interesting. When God mentions that He will put a hook in their Jaw, that is saying that Russia really doesn’t want to invade Israel, but they will be forced to. Why you may ask. Russia is currently providing Europe with much of their oil. However, as of recently, they found that Israel is sitting on tons of crude oil which was unknown until the last couple of years'. If Europe decides to get their oil from Israel, Russia will suffer economically to the point that they will have to take control of Israel's oil supply. Russia will have to do this for survival. This discovery of all this crude oil was also prophesied to happen in the end days. See, The Muslim nations hate the Jews and have been calling for their annihilation for thousands of years now. Russia will need their oil and therefore will combine with the Muslim nations to take over and destroy Israel. When this takes place, God Himself will personally intervene and destroy all of Israel's enemies.
The small country of Israel will win the next war that is on the near horizon. Actually, Israel will have little to do with this victory, like it says, God will personally intervene to the point that the whole world will see it. God will destroy Israel's enemies in a miraculous way.
We read this in Ezekiel 39: 1-8; “And you, son of man, prophesy against Gog, and say, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “Behold, I am against you, O Gog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal; (Which could be Vladimir Putin) and I will turn you around and lead you on, bringing you up from the far north, and bring you against the mountains of Israel.
Then I will knock the bow out of your left hand, and cause the arrows to fall out of your right hand. You shall fall upon the mountains of Israel, you and all your troops and the peoples who are with you; I will give you to the birds of prey of every sort and to the beasts of the field to be devoured. You shall fall on the open field; for I have spoken,” says the Lord God. “And I will send fire on Magog (All the nations that came up against Israel) and on those who live in security in the coastlands. Then they shall know that I am the Lord. So I will make My Holy Name known in the midst of My people Israel, and I will not let them profane My holy name anymore. Then the nations shall know that I am the Lord, the Holy One in Israel. Surely it is coming, and it shall be done,” says the Lord God. “This is the day of which I have spoken.”
I feel I needed to share these verses with you because you will most likely not hear this message being taught in your denominational church. It is actually a sin of omission for pastors to omit this teaching to their congregations. If you were born after May 14, 1948, and live a fulfilled life which is 70-80 years old, according to the Bible, you will see this event come to fruition. You need to know where we are on Gods prophetic clock. Time as we know it is dwindling down. All the signs of the end time are coming to fruition just as promised by the prophets of old.
Here we read about a conditional covenant from God to the nation of Israel,
Deuteronomy 28:1-2; “If you fully obey the LORD your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the LORD your God will set you high above all the nations on earth. All these blessings will come on you and accompany you if you obey the LORD your God”
This is a clear statement of conditions. If Israel did not obey God’s Law, they would not remain a people before him, in those days. Notice, It does not say "Everlasting" so it is conditional. And yet, we must realize that this did not nullify the unconditional promises God had given to Abraham regarding his descendants. There were generations of Jews that failed miserably, and God did judge them accordingly, but as a nation they never forfeited the covenant that God made with Abraham in Genesis 17:7.
The biggest judgement that fell on Israel is when they rejected their Messiah.
We read in Luke 19: 43-44; “For days will come upon you when your enemies will build an embankment around you, surround you and close you in on every side, and level you, and your children within you, to the ground; and they will not leave in you one stone upon another, because you did not know the time of your visitation.”
This prophecy spoken of by Jesus Christ took place in 70 A.D. This judgement lasted for about 2000 years, but just as was prophesized by prophets of old and some of the apostles, the Jews are back in their homeland to fulfill the 7th week of Daniel, which is another whole study in and of itself. The Jews are back in their homeland in unbelief just as Jesus said they would be, but during this seven-year period that is about to take place on earth, the Jews will be brought to their knees and their eyes will be opened and they will call on the Lord Jesus to save them. This is where we get the verse that Jesus spoke just days before He was crucified,
We read in Matthew 23:39; “For I say to you, you shall see Me no more until you say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!”
Notice it says “until,” meaning that day will come. That day is on the near horizon.
If you still aren’t convinced of these truths, then do an in-depth study of Romans 9, 10 and 11 and come to your own conclusion what you believe. By the way, you will not hear any sermons on these three chapters in Romans because it is proof positive that God is not through with the Jews. It is part of the New Testament that can’t be explained away so the denominational churches will not touch it. I heard an explanation from a pastor once and I quote “we don’t know what it means, (referring to Romans 9,10 and 11) but we know it doesn’t mean what it says”! That is the best they can do!
So, know this, you will either stand with Israel or you will die along with their enemies. And, if you are part of all this hate toward the Jewish people, you will certainly perish as did all of Israel's enemies. History is very clear as to what happened to all the nations that tried to destroy Israel. The final chapter where God will once and for all deal with those that tried to annihilate the Jews, will come to an end. And that includes America for those that wonder what will happen to our one time, great USA!
Keep this in mind, if you still believe in Replacement Theology, we as a nation are as evil a nation as their has ever been and if God forsook His covenant people because of their sins, then I can assure you that he will not keep His covenant with us either. The proof is in God’s Word, and I take His Word very seriously. Either God keeps His Word, or He doesn’t, what do you believe?
And now, Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
And also, I pray that God continues to bless you in all you do and take care!
