“God has a wonderful Plan”
BIBLE REFERENCE:
“Declaring the end from the beginning, And from ancient times things that are not yet done, Saying, ‘My counsel shall stand, And I will do all my pleasure,” Isaiah 46:10
WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT:
From the beginning of time right up to the present, God laid out a plan for all humanity and He knew it would all come to fruition, yet all through history there are those that have tried to thwart the plan of God in one way or another. The one that most of us know about is the holocaust where Hitler tied to exterminate all the Jews from earth. The Jews, all through history have been the subject of hate, when in all reality, all they ever wanted was peace. What all these murderous villains never understood is that God has a plan for Israel regardless of what they think they can do. The time is coming when Israel, will be put through another horrible attach according to the Word of God, but nonetheless, it has to happen and it will happen to fulfill Gods promise to the Jewish people.
Without getting into a lot of detail about what I mentioned above, I need to bring us to the current times in which we live. First of all I am going to share the following verse with you that explains how God is viewing the world and all the evil that is indwelling it. Psalms 2:1-6; “Why do the nations rage and the people plot a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, Against the Lord and against His Anointed, saying, “Let us break their bonds in pieces and cast away their cords from us.” He (God) who sits in the heavens shall laugh; The Lord (Jesus) shall hold them in derision. Then He shall speak to them in His wrath, and distress them in His deep displeasure: “Yet I have set My King on My holy hill of Zion.” I believe this Psalm is referring to the great tribulation period when the armies of earth take up arms against God thinking they can defeat the creator of the Universe, but I also believe it is playing out in our world now as we speak, but on a much smaller scale than what is about to take place. There is a very evil and corrupt force in our world and even more in our own country that is trying to remove God and Jesus from our society. It may look as if they are accomplishing their task, however, I can assure you that God has a different plan and his plan will play out perfectly as it has been written. Remember, God has written the script and it will not be thwarted. Many have tried and many have failed. Read the verse above. What most people that read the Bible do not understand is who is speaking in Psalms 2. It is the Trinity, (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) talking over how ridiculous the earth dwellers are in thinking that they can change what has already been written.
I do not know what Gods plan is nor does anybody else, but one thing I know for sure is that if you are a born-again Christian, you have nothing to fear. Let me share a couple Bible verses that should bring you comfort if you truly believe and trust in Jesus Christ. Romans 8:28, one you have seen in my writings quite often, “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” God is saying that all things are working out for the good to those that have truly submitted their lives to Jesus Christ. Darkness has definitely fallen over our country, but remember, the same thing happened when God brought plagues upon Egypt just before the Hebrew’s were set free from about four hundred years of bondage. All throughout Biblical history God has allowed darkness to come into the lives of His people to get them to repent and turn back to Him. I believe He is doing the same thing to America. There are a lot of true Christians in America and God will not judge America as long as the Christians are praying and repented for their years of falling away from His true Word. All throughout the Bible, God has never judged the righteous with the wicked and I do not believe that He will change that pattern now. With this being said, I can assure you that judgment will eventually come to America in its fiercest form, but, when God is ready and not until. We also read in 1 Thessalonians 5:9-10;”For God hath not appointed us (The Born-Again Believers) to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.” When God judges a nation He does not judge the righteous, He will remove them before His wrath is poured out on them. It’s His promise…do you believe it or do you reject His Word? We read in Luke 21:36; “Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.” The Bible is chalked full of comforting verses that apply to the true Church.
Two Bible stories that always come to mind are how Noah and His family were kept from the world flood that killed all the inhabitants of earth and how Lot and his family were removed before God would bring judgement on Sodom and Gomorrah. These Old Testament stories are for our learning. We are seeing a similar situation in our world right now. Evil has gone way beyond anything we could have ever imagines and yes, America is ripe for judgement. I believe there are two reasons why God has not yet judged America, one I explained above. The other is because of our support of Israel. We know this by what God told Abraham in the book of Genesis, 12:3; “I (God) will bless those who bless you (Israel), And I will curse him who curses you; and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” All throughout history God has judged those that went up against Israel harshly. So, let me add this because we are seeing another rise of anti-Semitism and if you are part of that hatred toward the Jewish people, you will parish with those that come up against Israel. Remember the verse above, this is Gods promise, not mine. There is, however, a sect of Christianity that say God is through with Israel and all the promise to Israel have fallen on the church. This is a lie from the pit of hell. The church and Israel are two separate groups of people, Israel has its own destiny aside from the church. Here is my best way to explain this. When God created the world and then created man, there were only gentiles. Then as we go through the Exodus, we are introduced to another group of people. The twelve sons of Jacob grew into a nation that we call Israel today. God’s chosen people. At that point we had to groups, gentiles and Jews. Then we enter into the fulfilled prophesies of the birth of the Messiah. As we read through the gospels, we read about the life of Jesus and how He took twelve disciples and turned the world upside down or should I say, right side up. Jesus knew that He would be rejected by His own, if fact, it is spoken of by Jesus in John 5:43; “I have come in My Father’s name, and you do not receive me; if another comes in his own name, him you will receive.” This false Messiah (Anti-Christ) will enter in during the tribulation period, and Israel will receive him. Without getting into al lot about what is going to happen, the Jews again will suffer for their unbelief in the true Messiah, Jesus Christ, but eventually they will turn to Jesus Christ and receive Him as their long awaited Messiah. Zechariah 12:10; prophesied this when he said, “And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn.” Their eyes will be opened when they get on their knees and cry out “Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord” as was prophesied by Jesus Himself where we read Matthew 23:39; “for I say to you (Israel), you shall see Me no more till you say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!” This will happen because of the severe persecution that they will have to endure during the Great tribulation. (Not a Good time for the Jews) but this will fulfill the prophecy that the Angel Gabriel told to Daniel in Daniel 9:24-27.
ACTION POINT:
For those that are not aware of this, God knows the beginning of history to the end of this thing we call life. He has a plan that has all been laid out in advance. Take for example, when a director to a movie is handed a script, the script will be followed right up through last scene. The writer knows exactly how the movie will play out, in the same way, God knows how His script will play out and how it will end and there is no force in this world that can change that. The evil people that are behind all the chaos in this world are creating a horrible fear among the nations, but if you are a true Child of God, you should not fear anything that this world can throw at you, God is in charge. John 3:16-18; “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.” Mediate on this promise from God until it sinks in. There is exceeding comfort for those that truly Love Jesus Christ! “Written To the glory of God, and Inspired by the Holy Spirit!” Amen!
