BIBLE MEDITATION:
“Then He said to them, “These are the words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms concerning Me.” Luke 24:44;
ENCOURAGING WORD:
Unfulfilled Bible prophecies primarily center on end-time events, including the Rapture, the seven-year Tribulation, the rise of the Antichrist, the Battle of Armageddon, and the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. Other key, unfulfilled prophecies include the global spread of the Gospel, the restoration of Israel, and the establishment of a millennial kingdom.
There are many Bible prophecies that are yet to be fulfilled. With all the drama going on in our world today, it would appear that all end time prophecy is close to being fulfilled just as the Bible declares. I’m going to start out by sharing a few of the most concerning prophecies.
Probably one of the most debated prophecy yet to be fulfilled is the Rapture of the church. This applies to only the true born again believers in Christ. This has nothing to do with saying that you are a Christian. Saying the you are a Christian has nothing to do with being saved. This is referred to as the sudden snatching away of believers to meet Christ in the air, interpreted from;
#1) The Rapture; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; “But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. (The term falling asleep refers to those that have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and have passed away.) For if we (Believers) believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those (Believers) who sleep in Jesus. (This applies to the bodies of the deceased, not their souls” For this we say to you by the Word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up (Raptured) together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words.”
There are those that deny the truth of the rapture, yet these verses make it perfectly clear as to what it is referring to. If you attend a church that denies this truth, you are being lied to and deceived. Satan wants nothing more than for us not you believe this teaching so we will not be ready when it comes to fruition. He wants us to be caught off guard. I’m not saying that you have to believe in the rapture to be saved, but knowing what’s coming will prepare you for the inventible. Notice what the last verse says above. “Therefore comfort one another with these words.” Would God tell us to be comforted if we where going to be cast in the great tribulation, not Likely! The biggest reason for this misunderstandings is the fact that the mainline denominations believe in replacement theology, which means, God has forsaken the Jews and all the promises to Israel fall on the church. This is a very deceptive lie that has caused a lot of misunderstanding of end time prophecies. If the church had replaced the promises to the Jews, then yes, we would be cast into the great tribulation. This is the time when God turns his attention back over to the Jews to fulfill the last seven year period of the prophecy of Daniel. If you do not understand the book of Daniel, which most congregations do not, you will never understand what is happening today as it relates to end time prophecy. You will be deceived and caught off guard.
# 2) The Tribulation & Antichrist; A period of seven years of global, unprecedented tribulation, characterized by the rise of a "man of lawlessness" (Antichrist) who makes a covenant with Israel and sets up the "abomination of desolation" in a rebuilt Temple, according to Daniel 9:27 and 2 Thessalonians 2:3.
Daniel 9:27; “Then he (Satan) shall confirm a covenant with many (Israel) for one week; (One More seven year period) But in the middle of the week (Three and a half years) He (Satan) shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations (extreme disgust and hatred) shall be one who makes desolate, (showing the effects of abandonment and neglect) Even until the consummation (Conclusion), which is determined, Is poured out on the desolate.”
2 Thessalonians 2:3-4; “ Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day (The tribulation) will not come unless the falling away (The Rapture) comes first, and the man of sin (The Antichrist) is revealed, the son of perdition,” who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.”
This is why those that believe in the rapture are watching for Jesus Christ while the rest of the world is waiting for the antichrist. When the antichrist appears, many will receive him as their Messiah. The antichrist will explain away what happened to the Christians and where they were taken. Of course, it will be all lies, but the world will believe the lie and worship the beast. Once you accept this lie and take his mark (The Mark of the Beast) your eternal fate will have been sealed. (No more turning back) Those that do not take the Mark of the Beast during this time and turn to Jesus will most likely be killed for their faith in Jesus, but they will go to heaven right after their life will have been taken from them by the Antichrist. Here is where I have a question for you, Do you want to receive Jesus now and be taken out of this world before this horrible time, or do you want to receive him during the tribulation where you will be killed for your faith or worse yet, you take the mark of the beast and go directly to hell. You do have a choice. Basically, Serve me now or sever me later. The latter being horrible. Here is what Jesus said about this horrible time.
Matthew 24:21; “For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be.”
Think about what this is saying. This is saying that the tribulation will be worse than anything that has ever happened since the beginning of time. And if you have any concept of history, you know that there has been some pretty horrible times.
#3) Battle of Armageddon & Gog/Magog War: The culmination of nations gathering against Israel and Jerusalem.
Zechariah 12:2-3; “Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of drunkenness to all the surrounding peoples, when they lay siege against Judah and Jerusalem. And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it.
Zechariah 14:1-2; “Behold, the day of the Lord is coming, And your spoil will be divided in your midst. For I will gather all the nations to battle against Jerusalem; The city shall be taken, The houses rifled, And the women ravished. Half of the city shall go into captivity, But the remnant of the people shall not be cut off from the city.”
The day of the Lord does not refer to one day, it is in reference to a time period where all end time prophecies will be fulfilled. The day of the Lord will begin at the rapture of the church and conclude at the second coming of Jesus to the earth., where He will execute the sheep and gaot judgement. The sheep will enter the Millenial Kingdom and the goats will be cast into Hades where they will wait one thousand years for the Great White Throne Judgement.
If you are paying any attention to what is going on in Israel, you will notice that these few verses that I read above are in full swing and heading toward the Gog/Magog War. All the players are in place for this to be full blown. I don’t believe this will happen until after the rapture of the church. The reason that I believe this is because all the nations of the world, including America will go up against Israel and while the Christians are still here, the nations that are still inhabited by Christians will not take up arms against Israel. The restraining force has to be removed before this can happen. That is the rapture of the church.
The restraining force in the Bible, referenced in 2 Thessalonians 2:6-7, is a mysterious entity holding back the full manifestation of lawlessness and the Antichrist until God's appointed time.
2 Thessalonians 2:6-7; “And now you know what is restraining, that he (Satan) may be revealed in his (Satan’s) own time. For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He (The Church) who now restrains will do so until He (The Church) is taken out of the way.”
Scholars generally identify this force as the Holy Spirit or the Holy Spirit working through the Church to hinder evil. Verses 6 and 7 also serve to remind us about the relationship between God and human suffering. When human beings wonder why God "does nothing" to stop evil, this passage should come to mind. As bad as it might seem, at times, the fact is that God is "restraining" evil from being even worse. Once the church is removed in the rapture, then and only then can the Antichrist appear on the scene. So, are you looking for Jesus Christ in the rapture or are you waiting for this false Messiah at the beginning of the tribulation period?
#4) The Second Coming: The visible return of Jesus Christ to earth to defeat the Antichrist and his armies at Armageddon will come at the end of the tribulation period.
Revelation 19:11-21; “ Now I (The Apostle John) saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He (Jesus) who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He (Jesus) judges and makes war. His (Jesus’s) eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His (Jesus) head were many crowns. He (Jesus) had a name written that no one knew except Himself. He (Jesus) was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. And the armies in heaven, (The Raptured Saints) clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He (Jesus) Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written:
KING OF KINGS ANDLORD OF LORDS.
Then I (The Apostle John) saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in the midst of heaven, “Come and gather together for the supper of the great God, that you may eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and of those who sit on them, and the flesh of all people, free and slave, both small and great.”
John reports in these verses that he saw and heard an angel that was standing in the sun. This angel, highlighted in the sun's brilliance, calls upon all the birds in the sky to meet together for God's great supper. This summons anticipates the destruction of the armies of earth that join forces in a futile attempt to battle the King of kings and Lord of lords. The context indicates that the birds are flesh-eating birds. The high-ranking rulers and their armies may be decked out in colorful regalia at the beginning of the battle, but they soon they will be rotting corpses, food for vultures.
And I (The Apostle John) saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him (Jesus) who sat on the horse and against His army. (The Born Again believers that were raptured) Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone. And the rest were killed with the sword which proceeded from the mouth of Him who sat on the horse. And all the birds were filled with their flesh.
The outcome of the beast's war against Jesus is predictable. Jesus, who created all things, captures the Antichrist and Satan's other henchman, the False Prophet. The False Prophet had deceived multitudes by performing signs and wonders.
Revelation 13:13–14; “He (The False Prophet) performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men. And he deceives those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived."
They deceived multitudes that had received the mark of the beast and had worshiped the beast instead of the one true God. Revelation 13:16–18; “He (The False Prophet) causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666.
These two had been responsible for leading many into sin, even the sin of idolatrous and immoral worship, and now they would suffer eternally for their transgressions. The Antichrist and the False Prophet do not die physically. Instead, they are thrown alive into the lake of fire that burns with sulfur. The Bible does not give an exact location of the lake of fire. It may lie outside our universe, but it is a real place. This is the ultimate, eternal destination for all who reject God.
Revelation 20:11–15; “Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.”
Standing before the great white throne are the resurrected dead who were not saved—those who did not accept Christ during life. John 3:36; “He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.”
These doomed individuals represent all classes of human beings, from paupers to princes. They are being judged by the Faithful and True Judge, (Jesus) who died to provide a way of escape from sin and eternal punishment.
John 3:16–18; “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”
Those assembled at the great white throne rejected Jesus' redemptive work and His gracious invitation to believe on Him and have everlasting life. John 6:37; “All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out.”
As a result, rather than being judged on the basis of Christ's work, they face the record of their sins when the books are opened. The record shows they sinned and failed to repent. At the same time, another book is opened, which is the book of life. As verse 15 points out, the doomed are sentenced to eternal punishment because their names are not written in the book of life. Being judged "by what was written in the books, according to what they had done" this may imply there are degrees of punishment in hell, but the absence of a defendant's name from the Lamb's book of life is the determining factor in his or her consignment to hell.
It would appear by this explanation that good works does not get anybody into heaven, but by their degree of good works, may result in a level of hell that isn’t as bad as the “Lake of Burning Fire” This is just speculation, but it makes sense to me. Either way, you don't want to go there.
Revelation 20:12 describes the final judgment, where all deceased individuals—"great and small" (leaders and commoners)—are resurrected to stand before God's Great White Throne. Books containing records of their deeds are opened, and they are judged according to their actions, highlighting total accountability and the necessity of being in the Book of Life.
The first books that are opened are those that totally rejected any belief in God or Jesus. This would include mostly Atheist’s. The book of Life as it is mentioned are those that believed in God, but never gave their lives to Jesus Christ nor accepted His free gift of grace. They are the ones that thought good works could save them. Those that fall into this category are probably the majority of souls that ever existed. If you appear at the White Throne Judgement, you will be judged for your works, but that judgement will only determine what extent of punishment that you will receive.
Those that have been born again and received Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior will not be present at this judgement. Since Jesus paid for the sins of those that believe on Him and had a relationship with Jesus, there will be no sins applied to them because Jesus paid the price for all their sins.
I hope that you understand this, because you will not hear this teaching in any of the denominational churches. The problem is this, they don’t know the Word of God, they only know religion. Religion will never save you, only through the shed blood sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross can save you.
Key Themes and Interpretations
The Dead (Great and Small): This refers specifically to the unrepented dead who were not part of the first resurrection, often termed the "second resurrection". The second resurrection are those that went into their grave unsaved. Therefore, when they get resurrected it is where they will be judged according to the degree of sin they harbored throughout their life. This is not a judgement to see if they make it into heaven or not, that has already been determined by their relationship with Jesus.
Judgment by Works: While salvation is through faith and faith alone, this passage highlights that the unsaved will be judged by their deeds, implying varied degrees of punishment in hell.
Finality of Judgment: This scene represents the final, binding decision of God at the end of the Millennium, with no further appeal.
Revelation 20:12 describes the Final Judgment or (The White Throne Judgment), where all deceased individuals, regardless of status ("small and great"), stand before God. Their actions, meticulously recorded in "the books," determine their judgment, highlighting God's omniscience, justice, and the accountability of humanity. Its rather unclear where those that are written in the “Book of Life” will actually be sent after they are judged, one thing is for sure, they will not be permitted to enter heaven. There are quite a few different interpretations of where they will end up, some make a little sense, but some are really off the wall. This is not something that you need to be concerned about if you receive Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior. You will not be present at this judgement if you put your faith in Jesus Christ.
Belief in the existence of hell and eternal suffering is unpopular with certain religious teachers. They would rather believe that everyone goes to heaven eventually, or they choose to believe in the annihilation of the wicked. However, the Bible is clear; hell is real and those who go to that dreadful place experience real suffering forever. The first to experience that torment, even before the millennial kingdom, are the Antichrist and the False Prophet;
Revelation 19:19–20; “And I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army. Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone.”
If there was no hell, why would God include this teaching in these two verses. If you trust that the Bible is the true and inherent Word of God, then there should be no debate about it. If you attend a sect of Christianity that teaches there is no hell, get out now!
#5) The Millennial Kingdom: A thousand-year reign of peace on earth, with Jesus ruling from Jerusalem, as interpreted from Revelation 20:4-6; “And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the Word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.”
Raptured saints, possessing glorified, immortal bodies, return with Jesus Christ to reign as co-rulers during the 1,000-year Millennial Kingdom. They will govern the earth's nations under Christ's authority, potentially serving as counselors or administrators, while interacting with both resurrected Old Testament/Tribulation saints and mortals surviving the tribulation. This is another truth that is not supported in most of the denominational sects of Christianity. I’m not going to mention who those are that deny the truth of the Bible. It is up to you to read the Bible and see how it lines up with what you have been taught. You will be held accountable for what you believe, and you won’t be able to blame any anybody or any religion that you trust. The Scriptures are very clear when you allow the Holy Spirit to reveal the truth of the Bible to you.
Key Aspects of the Raptured Saints' Role:
Active Leadership: They are appointed by Jesus to rule over cities and nations.
Theocratic Governance: As Christ's representatives, they manage the kingdom from Jerusalem and potentially from the New Jerusalem, ensuring justice and peace on earth.
No Procreation: Unlike the mortals inhabiting the earth, the resurrected and raptured saints do not marry or procreate.
Serving as Mentors: They act as spiritual guides or "Consensual advisors" to the nations.
Ambassadors for Christ: Operating in resurrected bodies, they possess capabilities allowing them to move efficiently, serving as Christ's ambassadors to the world.
The kingdom will be characterized by righteousness, with believers and resurrected saints populating a physically renewed Earth during this peaceful, 1,000-year reign.
Signs Leading to Unfulfilled Events
Global Disorder: Wars, famines, pestilences, earthquakes, and a rise in lawlessness.
Matthew 24:6-14; “And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.”
We are definately feeling the warnings of this prophecy. This prophecy is currently taking place on a large scale, especially in the Middle East, i.e.. Israel! We should all follow what is taking place in Israel, because it is Gods way of saying, the end is coming soon.
Environmental Ruin: Revelation 11:18; “The nations were angry, and Your wrath has come, And the time of the dead, that they should be judged, And that You should reward Your servants the prophets and the saints, And those who fear Your name, small and great,And should destroy those who destroy the earth.” This verse describes humanity "ruining the earth". Saying that the nations are angry is an understatement of the reality of what is really taking place.
Israel's Restoration: The continued return of the Jewish people to their land, which is seen as a precondition for the final days. This prophecy was fulfilled back on May 14,1948 just as Jesus said would happen.
These events are anticipated by many Christians as signs that the current age is closing
