Are you protected by the blood of the Lamb? - Author Ron Nelson

BIBLE REFERENCE:

“Now the blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you; and the plague shall not be on you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt.” Exodus 12:23

ENCOURAGING WORD:

Evil is rising everywhere. We all need to rise up and be “in” the fight. Thank Jesus for the Love that He provides you. Are you confident where you are going to spend eternity when this all ends? There is an end for all of us some day. For some of us, it maybe today or even tomorrow. God taught us from the beginning that the Blood of the Lamb, the Blood of Jesus Christ, was our best and most powerful protection from the assaults and attacks of the enemy! It is one of the primary gifts of protection that God gave the people of Israel and all of His children today. Those that claim to be born-again Christians and continue to walk in fear, need to tale a reality check on whether your walk is in truth or is it in vain. We read in 1 Corinthians 15:1-2; "Moreover, brethren I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand by which also you are saved if you hold fast that word which I preached to you - unless you believed in vain" I believe God has allowed us to come to this point in human history to give us all a reality check on whether we trust Him or not. When things are going well, it is easy to say, “Yes, of course I believe in Jesus”, but are they just words? Are you proving it now that things are not looking very good? I would have to disagree with a lot of people that make that claim. When I read this verse in the scriptures, it is finally coming very clear to me how this can come about, Matthew 7:14; “Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.” Few means few. This event that has come upon us in these difficult times may be the last chance for you to show your faith instead of just declaring your faith. Words mean absolutely nothing if actions do not follow them.

Just like the Hebrews that went through the Passover, Born-again believers are protected by the blood of the lamb also. The ones that believed and had the blood of the lamb spread on their door post were spared from certain death of the firstborn of each family. But we need to understand that down the road as they got older, they did eventually pass away. I bring up this point because of what I am about to share. Those (born-again believers) that have been saved by the blood of the Lamb, have no need to fear the lies and evil propaganda of what is going on in our world today. Does this mean that a Christian will not die from COVID-19, no, but if a Christian does die from COVID-19, he was going to die on that day anyway? God taught us to count the days of our lives, Psalm 90:12; “So teach us to number our days that we may gain a heart of wisdom.” The wisdom that is being mentioned of here is the wisdom of knowing that your life is in the hands of God, and He knows that exact day that He will take you home. Whether it be COVID-19, cancer, an accident or some other reason, God knows when that day will be. Matthew 6:27 tells us, “Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?” God is saying that you can go ahead and worry about dying your whole life if you please, but no matter how much you worry or try to stop what is eventually going to take your life, there is nothing that you can do to stop it or add to it, with the exception of suicide. Even then, God had foreknowledge of that event as well. So, if you claim to be a Christian and are running around in fear, then you are telling God, that His Words mean nothing to you. If you fear death, then you most likely do not know if you are saved, which brings me to another point. Romans 10:9-10 “If you declare with your mouth, "Jesus is LORD," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.” The question that you need to ask yourself is this, is your declaration of your faith just words, or has it actually reached your heart? Are you afraid to die, then it is only words! 2 Timothy 1:7 tells us, “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” The spirit of fear does not come from God, it comes from Satan, if you are running in fear, then you are serving Satan.

Now, just so you do not get the wrong idea, when I say I do not fear death, it does not mean that I am not concerned about how I may die. Of course, there are ways that I do not want to die, but if it is Gods will, then I say, let it be! In other words, I have no fear of dying because I know that my last breath here on earth will be followed up by my next breath in the presents of Jesus Christ. A Bible verse that I share often gives me complete comfort in everything that goes on in my life as long as I keep my mind of Jesus Christ. Romans 8:28; “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” We need to stay focused on Jesus Christ at all times. When we start to focus on the world, it is then that we get all bent out of shape and fearful of what is taking place. There is a story in the scriptures that makes this very clear. Remember when Jesus told Peter to walk out to Him on the water. Peter could actually walk on water as long as he kept his eyes on Jesus, but the moment he looked down as the water, he began to sink. This is an excellent picture of our walk with Christ. As long as we keep our eyes on Jesus, we will walk in complete harmony with Him. The moment that we focus on the world, we will sink into the evil that is surrounding us.

ACTION POINT:

There are those of us that have been studying the Word of God for a long time and God has given us the message to share to the world. Here is what confuses me, when those of us who share the message of Jesus Christ to a dying world, there are those that have never picked up a Bible, nor entered the doors of a church nor even know who Jesus is, but they have the audacity to mock us and tell us that we are wrong. My response to you that feel it is necessary to rebuke all that we know is this, read and study the Bible for the next ten to fifteen years and then come and see me and then we’ll talk, otherwise, keep your ignorance to yourself. Also, if you have never been a part of a church that teaches Bible prophecy, I don’t want to hear from you either, you know nothing! It is time to listen to those that God has called to share with you what is coming and how to prepare for it. 2 Timothy 4:3; For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers;” This time is now, will you listen and learn the truth, or will you continue to believe the world and all the lies within it. If you are one of those that fall into the category above, then you are fulfilling the prophecy that you do not believe in. So, if you know nothing about Bible prophecy, stop speaking against something that you know nothing about. You might want to listen and learn, instead of rebuking everything that God has warned us about. Remember Noah, he spent one hundred twenty year’s preaching to the people of his day about an upcoming judgement, they were laughing and mocking him every day, until the flood came, then they were not laughing anymore. Except for the flood, history is going to repeat itself. All those who are laughing, and mocking will not be laughing much longer. You make the choice; will you laugh and mock or will you listen to the best news the Bible has to offer? Are you covered by the blood of the Lamb, or will you reject the gift of grace and eternal life with Jesus Christ? Only you can make that choice. “Written To the glory of God, Inspired by the Holy Spirit!”
