BIBLE MEDITATION:
"For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse". Romans 1:20
ENCOURAGING WORD:
Several Bible verses point to creation, conscience, and scripture itself as proof of God's existence. Key verses include Romans 1:20 (nature reveals His power), Psalm 19:1 (heavens declare His glory), and Genesis 1:1 (the foundational claim of creation). These verses argue that God's handiwork is visibly evident throughout the universe.
Key Bible Verses Regarding God's Existence
Psalm 19:1; "The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork".
Genesis 1:1; "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth".
Colossians 1:16-17; "For by Him all things were created... And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist".
Hebrews 3:4; "For every house is built by someone, but God is the builder of everything".
Isaiah 40:26; "Lift up your eyes and look to the heavens: Who created all these? He who brings out the starry host one by one and calls forth each of them by name".
Themes of Proof in Scripture
Creation (General Revelation): Nature itself testifies to a designer, making God's existence obvious to all.
Internal Conscience: The moral law within humans implies a lawgiver, as described in; Romans 2:14-15; “for when Gentiles, who do not have the law, by nature do the things in the law, these, although not having the law, are a law to themselves, who show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and between themselves their thoughts accusing or else excusing them” Paul argued that Jewish people living under the law did not become righteous before God merely by hearing the Law read. They had to keep the law, and keep it perfectly, in order to be truly righteous.Speaking of obeying the law, Paul mentions that some non-Jewish people—Gentiles—end up keeping parts of the law "by nature," even though they are not required to do so by God. In other words, the human conscience sometimes prompts people to "do the right thing" even without having a written law to tell them to do it. This parallels Paul's point from earlier in his letter that God makes certain things obvious to all people In this way, those Gentiles allow their consciences to become a kind of law for them to follow. They might not even know what is included in the written books of the Law given to the Israelites.
Order and Complexity: The universe's order points to an intelligent Creator rather than chance.
Fulfilled Prophecy: The Bible claims that God’s ability to declare the end from the beginning proves His existence; Isaiah 46:9-10; “Remember the former things of old, For I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like Me, Declaring the end from the beginning, And from ancient times things that are not yet done Saying, ‘My counsel shall stand, And I will do all My pleasure,’
I’m going to share in detail the most unbelievable prophecy ever recorded. It comes from Daniel 9:24-27. If you read and understand these verses, you will have to come away with a total understanding of Gods existance. First we have to take a look at; Luke 1: 31-38; where the Messiah is promised to come through come by way of a virgin woman. “ And behold, you (Mary) will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name Jesus. He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end.”
Then Mary said to the angel, “How can this be, since I do not know a man?” And the angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God. Now indeed, Elizabeth your relative has also conceived a son in her old age; and this is now the sixth month for her who was called barren. For with God nothing will be impossible.” Then Mary said, “Behold the maidservant of the Lord! Let it be to me according to your word.” And the angel departed from her.”
This promise was fulfilled in; Daniel 9:25; “Know therefore and understand, That from the going forth of the command To restore and build Jerusalem Until Messiah the Prince, There shall be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks; The street shall be built again, and the wall, Even in troublesome times.”
One question that I have is this, Why do our mainline denominations stay away from teaching this prophecy more frequently, more often, and louder. Prophecy is like Proverbs 30:4 where the Bible announces that the creator God, who was singularly God Himself, that He would have a Son, and that we are to know His Son. Proverbs 30:4; This is a prophecy. Why do we not understand this? Why is this not being taught as prophecy? There are just overwhelming prophecies like Psalm chapter 2, that again tells us that God has a Son and you better Kiss Him, worship Him, because if you don’t acknowledge Him for who He is, you will enter the wrath of the almighty God when the anger of His Son is kindled a little, Psalm 2. Why do we not teach this in the same way we teach John 3:16?
Bible prophecy is the foundational comfort to all those that would study the Word of God, because if God does not keep His prophetic promises, then He’s not God. If God doesn’t keep His Word, He’s not a God to be worshipped. If the God of the Bible fails in any promise, then we have no God. We have no salvation, we have no Savior. Jesus said; I tell you these things in advance, so that when they do happen, you might believe that I am He.
John 14:29; “And now I have told you before it comes, that when it does come to pass, you may believe.”
This should prompt us to want to know every prophecy in the Bible. Gods prophecies also exist so those that have a hard time believing, might view prophecy and realize that these prophecies are so precise that they had to come from outside of our time domain, from someone who knew the beginning of time all the way to the end of time and everything in between. You say that you believe in God, do you really?I would think that if you did, you would want to get to know Him as good as you can. A lot of people say that they believe, but what do they really believe in?
Now, let’s move on to the prophecy that proves beyond a doubt that God is real and is the source of every scripture in the Bible. With my understanding from studying Daniel, chapter 9: 24-27; it has lead me to believe and to say publicly, that I no longer will tolerate or allow anybody to say to me that you cannot prove the existence of God. That is a false statement, because you can prove the existence of God. Most people do not want to know that God truly exist, simply because they do not want to be held accountable to anyone or anything. Daniel chapter 9: 24-27 truly proves just that. So, lets study this prophecy carefully as we unpack the Holy of Holies of Bible prophecy. This is an incredible prophecy, that if understood by everybody, it would change how people view the Jewish people which is very important in these days in which we live. This prophecy that was written thousands of years before it actually took place and parts of it were already fulfilled with 100 % accuracy. Internal and external evidence suggests that Daniel wrote the book between 536 and 530 BC, near the end of his time in captivity.
Please read and study what I am going to share.
We’ll start out with the actual prophecy as it was written.
Daniel 9:24-27, “Seventy weeks are determined For your people (Israel) and for your holy city, (Jerusalem) To finish the transgression, To make an end of sins, To make reconciliation for iniquity, To bring in everlasting righteousness, To seal up vision and prophecy, And to anoint the Most Holy.” (This will be completed at the end of the tribulation period)
“Know therefore and understand, That from the going forth of the command To restore and build Jerusalem Until the coming of the Messiah the Prince, There shall be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks; The street shall be built again, and the wall, Even in troublesome times.” (This has been fulfilled)
“And after the sixty-two weeks Messiah shall be cut off, (Executed) but not for Himself; And the people of the prince who is to come (Satan) Shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end of it shall be with a flood, (A flood of People, not water) And till the end of the war desolations are determined.” (This has been fulfilled)
“Then he (The Antichrist) shall confirm a covenant with many (Israel) for one week; But in the middle of the week (Three and a half years into the seven year tribulation) He (The Antichrist) shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate, Even until the consummation, which is determined, Is poured out on the desolate.” (This will be fulfilled during the tribulation period)
God says to the prophet Daniel, Due to Israel’s disobedience in honoring the Sabbath for which I commanded them, they owe me (God) 490 years. Because they did not honor me, I will extract this out of them. They (Israel) owe me 490 very specific years. It also specifically reveals who this prophecy is written too, Daniels holy people and Daniels holy city. He used the term (Weeks). Yes, Don’t let that confuse you. In the English, it is the word weeks, but we know this. It is (hepstead) meaning years. It’s a cluster of several clusters. Let me point out what I mean by that. Number one is this, when He says 490, write down on a piece of paper 490. The 490 is known here as 70 weeks of seven. 70 x 7 is 490 years. God said, you (Israel) have disobeyed me, You owe me 490 years. And here’s how I am going to get it out of you. 70 weeks or 490 years, are determined for your people. Daniel was a Jew. Daniel was from Israel. Who are his people? The Jews! And for your holy city. What is Daniels Holy City, Jerusalem. To finish the transgression, (He give them a list of things that all have to do with the anointed One,) The Messiah. The acts of God. No mortel man can do this. The list included, finish the transgression, make an end of sins, to make reconciliation for iniquity, to bring in ever lasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy. Side note; Revelation 19:10 says that Jesus is the Spirit of prophecy and to anoint the most Holy. That is to bless the Father. To bless God.
Verse 25, Daniel chapter 9. “Know therefore and understand, Daniel, That from the going forth of the command To restore and build Jerusalem Until the coming of the Messiah the Prince, There shall be seven weeks (7 x’s 7) (49 years) and sixty-two weeks; (Add another calculation-62 x 7) (434 years) The street shall be built again, and the wall, Even in troublesome times.”
Know therefore and understand, That from the going forth of the command. What does that mean? Daniel knows what this is. Back in the days of Nehemiah in the Bible, when King Articxerse saw Nehemiah’s face, he said to Nehemiah, why are you so sad? Nehemiah said, “How can I be glad while in exile?” But that’s not the big problem, the big problem is that my country, (Israel) my city, (Jerusalem) and my temple is destroyed back in Jerusalem. Its trashed! With that response from Nehemiah, King Articxerse is moved with compassion and says, “I’m going to take care of this”, I’m going to issue you this decree and I’m going to give you the funding, the permission, the permits to travel though the empire and make it all the way back to Jerusalem so you can survey what’s going on and you can get a work party going. Mark this down, We know that through archiology and ancient times that Nehemiah got his paper work signed on March 14, 445 BC. King Articxerse gives Nehemiah the thumbs up to go back to begin the restoration of the streets and of the walls of Jerusalem in the land of Israel. Watch how this works out. You’ve got 490 years and you got 445 BC, which is the years which was issued on March 14th, 445. BC. That’s the day the permit was issued. And so he says, know therefore and understand that from the going forth of the command to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until the Messiah the Prince. So, He got a permission to go back and restore Jerusalem until the coming of the Messiah. There shall be seven weeks. 7 x’s 7 = 49. So, we got 490, which is 70 x’s 7. The streets shall be built again, and the wall even in troublesome times.
That is exactly what Nehemiah did. And after the 62 weeks we have 434 years. 62 x’s 7 = 434 years. We started out with 490. God says, here’s how its going to unfold. Number one, for 49 years, there is going to be a 49-year period of time that the streets, the walls of the city and all will be rebuilt. In the 490 cluster, When you back away the 49 and you look at the 62 times, that brings you to the 434 years. What is going to happen then? And after the 62 weeks, it says the Messiah shall be cut off. (Crucified) 434 years, that is the 62 weeks plus the 49, that equals 483 years. What happens in the 483rd year. From March 14th, 445 BC God says; “Israel owes me 490 years.” Here is how it is going to shake out. 49 years are going to take place and then there is going to be a time period of 62 x’s 7. That’s going to be 434years. When you take the 434 and add the 49 you come out to 483. In the 483rd year, the Messiah shall be cut off. (Crucified) The Messiah, the anointed one will be killed for being accused of committing a capital offense. Why would the Messiah of Israel be charged with a capital offense? What could a Jewish Messiah do to have somebody issue a decree, “you’re guilty of a capital offense, you must die.” The Messiah would not commit a crime. The Messiah is perfect. But the Bible said that the Messiah will be killed for committing a capital offense.
The Messiah will be killed for committing a capital offense, but not for Himself. The Messiah is going to die, but He’s not going to be guilty of the crime for which he is being charged. He is not going to die for Himself. The book of Daniel, chapter 9, verse 26 says the Messiah is going to die for others because they committed a capital offense. (And the people of the prince who is to come, (The Antichrist) shall destroy the city (Jerusalem) and the sanctuary. That is referring to the temple. The peoples prince (Satan) will destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end of it shall be with a flood with armies, not water. Until the end of the war desolations are determined.
Then he, the prince of the people, not the prince of God or the prince of peace. Verse 27, the prince of the who is to come, shall confirm (Enter into an agreement) shall sign the deal. (A covenant with many for one week.) That’s the number 7. Think of a week of years. This one week is referring to 7 years. Two weeks would be 14 years. 7 x’s 70 is 490. 62 x’s 7 = 434 years. So, the messiah is going to be cut off (Executed) but not for Himself, on the 483rd year on the prophecy of Daniel chapter 9 verse 24-27.
But that still leaves seven years yet to be fulfilled. That last seven years kicks off when the prince of the people will come (Antichrist) will sign an agreement, a covenant with those who are the holy people or the people of Israel, or the people of the city of Jerusalem. He will make this agreement for seven years, one week. 483 + 7 goes back to our original number of 490. Here is where this gets interesting. We have a prophecy right here in front of us given to Daniel, and it is 100% true that Israel in their offense to God did not give Him the Sabaths of worship that they owed Him (God) And so God says, I put those together and you owe me 490 years. So, this is how I want payment. The payment is, I want you to pay attention. You need to pay attention and I’m going to give you great details.
On March 14th, 445 BC, King Articxerse is going to give Nehemiah the permission to go back and restore and rebuild the streets and the wall of Jerusalem and begin to rebuild. That’s going to be 49 years. There also going to be a section of 62 which is 434 years. And when you do the math and put those two equations together, the 49 and the 434, you get 483. On the 483rd year, from March 14th, 445 BC, you will come to April 6, 32 AD. The exact day that Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey proclaiming to be the Messiah.
Leap years have got to be taken into consideration. This is not based on a Gregorian calendar. This is based on a biblical calendar, In the Bible calendar from Genesis to Revelation, a year is 360 days, not 365. When you do the math to the detail with all the accounts that are included in that, if the Messiah was cut off, but not for others on the 483 year of this prophecy, that leaves seven years left. Seven years left for whom? The Holy city and the Jewish people. Ring a bell? Seven years, The Messiah entered into Jerusalem, which is written in Matthew chapter 23 and 24,
Read Zechariah 9:9; and read Psalm 118. Because Zechariah 9:9 says that Israel’s Messiah will arrive presenting Himself as King riding on the back of a baby donkey that has never been ridden by anyone before this time. And in Psalm 118, it was prophesied that when the Messiah would come, the people would shout, “Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord. Blessed be the Son of David, the Messiah.”
That happened on April 6, 32 AD. From March 14th, 445 BC to April 6th, 32 AD, is 483 years based on the 360 day calendar. That is 173,880 days to the day, which is why Jesus Christ, while riding on the back of the donkey said on Palm Sunday, “Oh Jerusalem, Jerusalem, if you had only recognized this your day, now your peace will be taken from you, and you will be taken away. Your land will be invaded. The temple will be torn down, Not one stone shall be left upon another, and you will go into exile until the time of the end."
How long is the tribulation period recorded in the book of revelation? Do you know how long it is? Take a wild guess. When does God get His seven years that He owes Israel. When did the Jews after the 483 years end up for the last 2,000 years. For 2000 years the Jews have been exiled to the four corners of the earth, but on May 14th, 1948, they have been coming back home to Israel. And since October 7th, 2023, instead of Jews running from Israel, more Jews have moved into Israel. Why, because they know their Messiah is coming soon. But something is going to happen. Some one is going to arise, a political leader. The book of Daniel tells us, chapters 2, chapter 7, chapters 8, chapter 11, and chapter 9 that He (The Antichrist) is going to sign a peace treaty that is for seven years with Israel. The book of Daniel tells us that in the middle of the seven years, which is three and a half years, He is going to break the covenant, and he is going to break it in Jerusalem, and he is going to desecrate the temple. He is going to destroy the sanctuary. Jesus talked about this in Matthew, chapter 23 and 24. With all this evidence, it proves the existence of God. From the commandment to restore and rebuild Jerusalem from March 14th, 445 BC. until the coming of the Messiah the Prince, would fulfill 483 years, that would be 173,808 days which was the exact day that Jesus rode into Jerusalem claiming to be the Messiah of Israel.
Now is where we should all wake up and understand why it is necessary to know and understand Bible Prophy. Here we learn that God held Israel and their spiritual leadership accountable to know that day, the day that their Messiah would appear. God has also prophesied the time when we should be watching for the signs of His soon return. For those of you, and there are many, who don’t believe in Bible prophecy, first of all, your calling God a liar, and second, you are not going to be prepared for what is coming. Remaining ignorant of Bible prophecy will not change the fact that all Bible prophecy will be fulfilled whether you choose to believe it or not. Think about this, The Jews suffered severe persecution of 2000 years, those that assume God is lying will spend eternity separated from Jesus Christ for all eternity or more commonly put, (The Lake of Burning Fire.”) HELL!
Also, know and understand what happened in the days of Noah. The people of that day did not believe the prophecy that the world would be destroyed by a worldwide flood. The whole world with the exception of Noah and his family all perished. If anyone of those who perished in the flood would have believed and jumped into Noah’s Ark, they would have been saved. God gives us all these details in the Bible so that there will be no excuse for not knowing what is in the near future. There are over 360 prophecies in the Bible, many in the Old Testament that have already been fulfilled to 100%. There are many that we are seeing unfold right before our eyes today, and there are some very important events that are coming to pass soon that will change the whole scope of what we are living in today. You have the choice of how you will be affected by these events.
Don’t remain ignorant of Gods promises, eternity is a long time!
Ask yourself this question, in the second coming when Christ returns, where does He return too? Israel, what city? Jerusalem. Who is he returning for? The Jews that God has spiritually preserve through this horrible time. The seven year tribulation is fulfillment of the last seven years of Daniels prophecy. It’s not seven years for the born again believers. We won’t be here. If you believe that you are a true Christian and If you believe you will be here during this time, then once again, you are calling God a Liar. We all need to wake up before it is too late. God is patient with us and wishes that all would come to repentance, but the day is coming when He will close the door on grace, and all those that are left behind will face the horrors of the wrath of God during this time. Yes, I said the wrath of God and what do we read in the following verse,
1 Thessalonians 5:9; “For God did not appoint us (True born again believers) to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,”
Read this again if you think you are going to go through the tribulation. It’s your choice and what you believe will most likely determine where you spend eternity.
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
